  1. Don't forget their oysters (arguably best in the world) and quahogs (usually called cherrystones here).
  2. You're unlikely to save any $ (Sobeys is selling at a loss to get you in the store), but seafood tastes better when it's absolutely fresh. Plus it's just nice to have when you're on vacation.
  3. Anyone have experience with Polar Kraft boats? If so, any feedback on ride, durability, and any issues you had (or hopefully didn't have)?
  4. Go in September (or later) and take one of the bluefin tuna charters. Hooking into one of them would be a blast!
  5. Anyone know where to find costas and maui jims in west end of GTA or Oakville/Burlington?
  6. Those Elantras are nice Cliff. Great value. As others have said, I'm a big fan of Foresters as well. You might get a deal on a '12 now that they have released the new version. I think it's basically the same car with the new having nicer trim and a CVT transmission. As for north American jobs - Honda and Toyota have been generating more of those than the big 3.
  7. We have the Northern Canyon (Cdn version of Copper Canyon) for car camping and El Capitan for canoe trips. You'll see the Canadian ones at http://www.eurekatentscanada.com.
  8. Eureka makes a great tent, and they're usually not that expensive relative to other higher-end tents. Also have their manufacturing or distribution center in Burlington, in case there's ever a problem. Assume they may have factory sales as well.
  9. I think you'd have to encounter a LOT of black bears before running across one that wanted to eat you. Wouldn't worry too much about it.
  10. Costco has one - http://www.costco.ca/Backroadz-Truck-Tent.product.100029328.html
  11. Algonquin would be far more "camping experience" than Balsam. I don't know Wheatley. Restoule is nice, though a little further than 3-4 hrs from where you are. Have heard good things about Massasauga, though I have never been.
  12. I like Cdn tire. They've always treated me well. As for Walmart - through size alone they have easily 10x the selling/negotiating power of Cdn tire. It's not Cdn Tire trying to rip you off.
  13. +1 on the Forester. Great cars. Escapes are nice as well, but you may want to check out the safety/crash scores.
  14. Shimano waxwing might be fun to cast there.
  15. Boss - if it's a refurb it's probably a special order anyway. Doubt any of the locations would have them in store.
  16. I think the natives should be paid and paid VERY well. If what happened here (Canada) a few hundred years ago happened in 2012, there'd be world wars over it.
  17. chubby darter half-and-half williams spoon (whitefish one with the hooks on the side)
  18. You mean a swagger wagon? toyota sienna video Great vehicle.
  19. This reads like a Jack London story. Wolf attacks are VERY rare. As in, you're much more likely to be hit by lightning.
  20. Have you tried Bowman's bait? I don't know what he carries in the winter, but in the summer his prices are great and quality is really high.
  21. I like Sail. It's a good store.
  22. As a side note, i have a tablet with 3G/4G capability and have never bothered to sign it up. I only use it at home.
  23. fewer apps available for it, but is a great machine (one of my friends has one, and absolutely loves it). In terms of connectivity, if you plan to use it primarily at home or coffee shops, hotels, etc....not a big deal. If you expect it to have connectivity everywhere, then you need to check how well it connects to an android phone. I expect it would be fine.
  24. Man. Lucky it dropped the little guy.
