    Great report! Reminds me of the same thing, learning how to fish and getting the fishing sickness from chasing smallies on a western trib. I gotta get out there again soon.

    Those baits look great! One of my go-to baits are the black Reaper tails too. I'm having trouble finding them lately. Thank god I have a pack and half left. Good luck on catching some giant gators. I'm sure those will get a few.

    I 2nd what Sinker said about the Pline flouroclear. It's supple, strong, and abrasion resistant. Use it as a main line. It's flouro coated line. Good luck and catch some big ones
