The overly cautious going too slow. The overly aggressive going too fast. If we could keep these two groups off the road the world would be perfect.

I make mine on the spot. Made with locally grown, biodegradable materials. Two forked sticks. One taller than the other. Placed at precise intervals. I'm working on a non-forked model for those times when I just can't find a forked one.

A couple years ago my rental water heater sprung a leak. I called up Reliance and the guys were here in an hour and two hours later I had a new one installed and working. The only thing I didn't like was they had to put in a steel chimney liner (about $600.00) that they said was required by law but that was just tacked on to my rental bill. No immediate cash outlay.

I have no problem with low-ballers. Because i am always giving stuff away for free. Old junky freezer, old stereo equipment etc. Always gone the same day.

I got chased off one of my spots on the river by a pair of swans. I was walking the shoreline and came around a bend and they were right in front of me about ten ft. away (3 meters for you younger guys) They both stood up with wings spread and started coming toward me hissing and honking like mad. Then the bigger one lowered his head and charged me. I backed up quick and got up into the bushes and then got out of there quick. They were going to kill me.

No. It wasn't all that bad. At least not right here. They had tornado warnings here but I didn't see any.

We just had a pretty intense thunderstorm blow through here in London. Some really heavy rain. Looks like it's headed down to Long Point, Port Dover area. Watch out you guys down there.

Yep, that's a beauty for sure. How long would that be? We never weigh our fish, just measure them in inches. My PB is 33". I'm guessing yours is closer to 40". WTG!
