  1. The vessel licence also has to be given to the new owner.
  2. Careful of the potholes and craters.
  3. DUH, that's pretty much a given, but I'm comparing to the other big ones such as LeB, Sail, BPro, not Mom& Pop.
  4. I'll have to call tomorrow to see if they do price matching. I'll agree that over 30 years of on line shopping has been nothing but stellar compared to others.
  5. Just checked a couple of places for that 5HDI with Gold Navionics card, over $100 cheaper elsewhere, even to get it shipped from south of the border.
  6. Ah, don't do it..they'll take your sparkplugs and make you row home..
  7. Well I expected a zoo full of people but that's not part of the overall first impression. Looked like a lot of people were browsing and price checking. I hope the store does price matching 'cause right off the bat there were several items I found cheaper even with the employee discount. One particular fellow in the fishing department might want to learn the art of customer service and attention rather than babble about his personal musky fishing expeditions. He wouldn't give me the 10 seconds for a price check on a new Lowrance 5HDI. The one item I did take, a Kolpin ATV box model 93400 will be going back. Once out of the cardboard box, it's got to be the floppiest ATV storage box made. The cardboard box it came in was more rigid. Anyway, they do have all the basic fishing and hunting stuff, just watch the prices.
  8. Back to the original question, you have to move the weight, doesn't matter if it's in the truck or the trailer, you're paying with fuel to move it.
  9. That's like catching a record fish 1 minute after midnight on closing day, nah, don't count.
  10. Just be careful where you dump it in a Ford, not in the fuel tank like someone did.
  11. Ha, that's good to have the other half in the boat now and then, at least she knows you go fishing and not straying...
  12. It's not disconnected, mine has the same.
  13. It's been a while in the making, http://blog.caranddriver.com/toyota-tundra-does-a-titan-move-turns-to-cummins-for-a-diesel-v-8/
  14. There are some things in life which will never, ever, ever, be used or installed in a living space which I or my family occupy. Any open flame device is one of them, I don't care how safe the mfgr says they are, even with a CO detector installed. They too can fail at the worst times. Secondly, CO is very near the density of regular air, just slightly lighter and will usually rise because it's warm, given off during an incomplete combustion process. Do as you wish, I like to wake up on the green sideof the lawn
  15. Ya, old "news". It sucks. If news is a derivitive of new, then what would you call old news? Olds?
  16. I don't think the front end could hold up a 4BT for any length of time unless you really beef it up. A TDI swap would be sweet. Somebody did a Suzuki swap with one, exceelent mileage and towing.
  17. Hey, you two better watch the speed limit out there..Nice to have those calm mornings and no nitwits to bother you.
  18. When traversing international boundaries, it would be wise to look it up the requirements rather than believe in opinions. Took about 3 seconds to find this: http://boating.ncf.ca/usborder.html
  19. No worse than the dopey twit that stopped in the #2 lane on the 400 North to add window washer to her reservoir.
  20. One thing I found out through the grapevine today, don't baby the Eco-diesel, every now and then(probably more often wouldn't hurt), put your foot in it, clean it out, otherwise it will soot up and cause grief with the sensors and EGR system. Got that from a mechanic at the dealer.
  21. That's really decent fuel mileage, I think there may be one in my future.
  22. Quite a number of houses damaged in the Gold Park subdivision on the 5th line, roofs and second story gone on one row of houses, neighbouring streets had siding and shingles missing. Other local areas had various damage. 12foot springboks shed is gone along with some stuff, he's alright, little bit shell shocked, back at home with us for now. It rolled through here at 5pm, man what a blast of rain and wind. Hope nobody was hurt.
  23. Now if VW would bring their Amarok, the rest would be kinda wondering what happened.
  24. You're getting close to the big black hole of Angus, nothing can escape from that vacuum hole...
  25. I have yet t hear of a 6 spd stick grenading. Auto's are for ________
