dans got the answer the transducer will need to be mounted so there is no turbulence if you want any kind of high speed reading. The lss-1 is not a high speed transducer and it can be put deeper. I have the set up on a twin screw 28ft boat so the mounting I can not help you with. Art

We turned off the ads to show that it is not our site. As soon as we turn the ads back on APB will react with our ads and we will return back to an issue. Just a note also that APB works differently in each browsers which is why it will filter Chrome and lets IE thru. So we can ask T.J. to turn off the 4 ads we have and run out of money in about 3 weeks or thank everyone for turning off APB and help fund this site and keep it open. Raf try powering down your modem and let it reset it will clear your ip address and possible a new address. if this fails contact your server and ask if they have a different ip they can manually set. Art

I just reverted a copy of ad blocker and it worked fine on the site. After updating it the site on my computer went back to having issues. While IPB is checking on there end to make sure they have no bugs in the closet it appears (in my untrained thought process) that it is the software of the adblocker that has changed and conflicting with the site. I have another site that is also not compatible with the new adblocker download. I will forward this to Roy to send to IPB. Art

If you are having an issue please post what is happening as well as the OP you are using. If you have any conspiracy theories keep them to yourself. With the amount of time and effort that Roy is putting into this issue with the IPB the next time you see him you better buy him a beer. None of this will happen fast for now turn off your adblockers and use your browser that works for you in your area. For every ad you have to look at we graciously will accept the 1/20 of a penny we get to improve and buy the bandwidth that keeps this board on line. As I have said many times before We are very happy that people choose to be here it is a place of great wealth of friends as well as a way to share life with the many friends we and you have made over the past 16 years. Welcome to the board I am no help on where to locally fish being so far away. Art

I fish color by what the conditions dictate. I fish the bottom with a color that is 5 shades different from the bottom color due to composition and depth. I fish upper level and top water a few shades lighter or darker than the backround, be it the overcast shy or a tree line of green. This takes into account that evolution has made the back of fish to blend down and the belly to blend up. With the shade difference it gives the fish something to key in on as different than normal in their environment. To add what I really think helps trigger a bite it is the cadence of the unpredictable movement or the wounded fish tactic. Art
