  3. Well....you certainly are a tough one Bunk..lol I believe that most kids bite them subconsciously and don't even really realize they are doing it. I've heard about something that you can get at the drug store to put on her fingers that tastes repulsive. Maybe if you were to try it and give her an "assist", she might kick it. I've never tried it, just heard about it Good luck with it. Cheers Craig
  4. Wow....quite a story...thanks for posting Brian. I'm not a big baseball fan, but it's tough not to pull for someone like that. Cheers Craig
  5. I was going to guess North Rustico, PEI...beutiful spot. Took a couple of charter boats out for Cod in that area. Cheers Craig
  6. Knowing the area where you are launching from would help out alot. As others have mentioned, the bass are everywhere holding on structure. Dragging tubes, jigging spoons, crankbaits, etc. The walleye are deeper, but starting off of Port Maitland, Port Colborne would be a good start. Everyone has their favorite lures, but I never seem to go wrong with harnesses. Just finding the hot color can be some work. Don't know where you are located, but talking to other anglers at the launch you use will no doubt point you in the right direction. Cheeers Craig
  7. Best of luck taper.....I grew up in that area and know it well. You targeting bows??? Cheers Craig

  10. Yes I had the surgey Daplumma. I was in/out of the surgery in les than 15 minutes. the longest part of the whole thing is waiting for the freezing to take. Recovery was fairly short too as I recall. Keep you finger rested in the splint that they will put it in and you should be back to normal in a week or two. It will feel much better before that, but back to new in two weeks. Cheers and let us know how it goes Craig

  15. Don't get me started on the outdoors card. Instead of complaining about how it looks, how about some complaints about its purpose? Does it even have one? It's a license to buy a license. Nothing more. The silliest cash grab that I've ever seen. Amen Dan C
  16. Hi Wendel.... There is another campsite right in Mitchell's Bay at the Marina if you are looking for another camping spot Cheers Craig

  25. I fished Temiskaming opener for quite a few years, however always at the north end (New Liskeard area). Depending on the weather, the fish were quite often in the feeder rivers (Wabi, Blanche etc.) or shallow near the river mouths. A bit of experimenting and you should be able to find them fairly shallow. Spinners slow trolled with a worm work well, harnesses in the same fashion. White/yellow twisters and even a plain old minnow still fished would produce. The fish seem to move into smaller bays and shallow shoals in the evening which we found was the best time for fishing. The water in Temiskaming can be pretty stained so daytime fishing can be alright as well. Good luck and let us know how you make out. PS are you staying on the Ontario or Quebec side of the Lac Cheers Craig
