  1. Go Team FILA Cheers Craig
  2. If you are looking for some Perch, take the 15 minute drive around Rondeau bay to the small town of Erieau. It is just around the other side of the bay from Rondeau PP. There is a pier there that you can walk out on and fish. The morning and evening bite for perch of the pier at this time of the year should be good. You can also expect some sheephead and maybe cats. Shiners on a Pickerel rig will do you well. There are not usually any Walleye in the bay itself, it's more of a Bass/panfish area. Good luck Cheers Craig
  3. Not sure about the local boat launch other than the Colchester area a little farther along. There are a few inland ponds within the park that hold lots of catfish. Cheers Craig
  4. Awesome report Mike. Your daughter looks like a real trooper (and photogenic to boot). Ps.....beautiful spot you have there, even better with agreat fishing partner. Cheers Craig (fellow Grimsbite)
  5. If I remember (fish sized brain ya know) I'll post my results. LOL...that was funny I have also transferred the contents into a dollar store re-sealable (Tupperware type) container with great results....havn't had a mess yet. Cheers Craig
  6. Ditto on Kijiji...have used it quite a bit with good success. You can also advertise on a wide range of major cities if you choose to. Great tool Cheers Craig
  7. There are plenty of carp and panfish as well as Bass in the Shrewsbury/Rondeau Bay area. The pier in Erieau can be good for Perch and Sheepshead. The Thames river that runs right through Chatham is usually good for carp, cats, silver bass, etc etc. I grew up fishing on the Thames river in Chatham and there was always something biting. If your son has wheels to get around, Mitchell's Bay on Lake St. Clair is only 15-20 minutes away as well. Cheers Craig
  8. Bush...that piece is beutiful. I can only imagine what it is like to paint on those antlers. Very nice job Cheers Craig
  9. Little Angler Sorry you had that experience and feel even worse that you don't feel safe in your own school/community. I'm afraid we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg as far as the shootings and crime go and that it is going to get much much worse before it gets better. It takes governments and courts a long time to inact change. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms is a wonderful thing. Its just too bad it is not being interpreted and used in the spirit in which it was drafted. Off my soap box Cheers Craig
  10. The silver bass will no doubt be in and will hit just about anything. You will also liely hook into a few OOS incidental smallmouth and some sheephead. With the weather forecast, you should have a great day. Cheers Craig
  11. Those old pics are great Cudz UAE....would love to see it and fish it...How long were you there?...visit or working? Cheers Craig

  18. That is a fatty....nice job Cheers Craig
  19. Can't really help you with Kings this time of year, but you won't have to go to far from the harbour for Browns. You will likely see several people trolling the mud line where the water changes clarity. That is a good spot to start Cheers Craig
  20. While growing up in Chatham, I used to fish across the river from Union Gas building at the bridge and the docks behind the Holiday inn (I think it is now a retirement home) Never really targeted cats back then, but we sure got our fair share of them. I know certain parts of the river close in the spring for the walleye spawn so be sure to check your regs. I believe Prairie Siding area remains open year round. Good luck Cheers Craig
  21. Welcome Good bunch of people here. Always willing to help Cheers Craig
  22. Terry Those ice scratchers look like they work awesome. I've always wondered about them. Are they easily removable for when there are conditions with lots of snow? Cheers Craig
  23. Magicfingers I'm not sure about boats, but I know people that have attended the snowmobile auctions in Michigan earlier this year. The auction house has signs up telling Canadian buyers to only purchase the sleds with title and not the "bill of sale" only sleds. Worth a call to Customs before making the trip to save you some agro on the way back. Cheers Craig
  24. I'm gonna get a chair for this one... Cheers Craig
  25. How cool would that be... Good luck to him Cheers Craig
