  2. be greedy today........you do deserve much happiness and what better day to lap it up. All the best Lew........and if you cant find any use for the Compound Mitre Saw...well, just shoot me a PM. Happy B-Day to you as well Mr.Devine.......hope it is just as great as Lew's. Ya Know Lew,,,,,,,,.....only 2 hours from Toronto the lunge season is still open til the 15th of Dec.....
  3. Lunkerbashunter.. Perhaps you should contact ChuckNLaddyWalleye.... winners of this years BOQ g2g..they were doing something awfully right. Us, we live on the Trent -Severn Waterway and I fish almost everyday... Seems we've got Pike now instead of Musky.............pissser Just the same we've been catching them with regularity.. Not monsters but not pukes either....(24" - 38") Troll slower then normal........(less then 2 mph) Mid sized spoons in hot pink or yellar 5 of diamonds does the trick Smallies were in abundance not just 2 weeks ago but I think they are deep now and drop shotting would be a choice...we dont target them this time of year tho...We Want fish with teeth. Like I said tho..........so many Wally pro's out there....get in touch with ChuckNLadywallye for their success. Good luck to you bNb
  4. BoyOboy....... I feel like Im burning forever in hell on this........ Was supposed to meet up witth ChuckNShell for the day in Glennora with my father-in-law visiting from NovaScotia on their anual trip to Florida for 6 mos. of each year.... My folks turned up at the same time and all stayed with us and we partied way more then most most folk should. Well ChuckNShell.........sorry we couldnt get out.. at the same time couldnt reach ya's on yer cells....to let you know to let someone else grab our spots with ya's. We had a great weekend just the same.......and from what I just read.. You folk did just awesome. WTG guys..............WTG.. bNbNCharmaine
  5. JF, Exactly what Phil said...... A 'Spiel rod' are difficult to come by but are as stated.... 'Highly functional'......Works of art to be a mite more precise. Just ask Wayne...(Irishfield)..owner of one of the greater rods by Spiel. You cant buy the quality of that rod anywhere........Seriously....made for the job and light as heck. bNb
  6. Dabluz......... ThankYou Sir for that very informative explanation... Ive been using a baitcaster, (large series) for several years now and have always been somewhat frustrated about not being able to toss lighter lures with them. Never have given ajny thought at all to adjusting the sleeves to achieve less breaking. I do know where they are as I oil my reels fairly regularly, I'm heading out later today and will adjust before Im ready to leave...this way I can leave the spinning gear in the shed. Thanks again....... Beats...excuse me for stepping in on your post Bud.
  7. we have the same motor, Honda 2hp4stk........... justpurrs and moves our aluminum along fine with 2ppl and gear.......for small lakes. I wouldnt even consider the big lake or even the bOQ with it tho........AT ALL !!!!! (if it was your only source of power)
  8. Picked up a Mr.Buddy just for this weekend as we're sleeping in the guesthouse because the inlaws are here for the weekend.....only heatsource. The warmth was welcome.......the little house is only 13 x 15. I had it up against the door away from anything flamable and anytime we had to open the door it automatically turned off once bumped.........nice safetyfeature. This room is insulated too tho. No problems with this product here.
  9. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Yerright on there Lew..........just got in from taking my dog out too Bud. Wasnt dressed for it atall. We've no snow out here in QuinteWest....but the winds are howling.
  10. Joey,...Nice outing INDEED! How could it not have been with the oldschool OFC'rs you two were out with. What were your party....2-3 shy of the original 12 ???? Your looking very healthy Joey...we can see it in your eyes. Pauls turn will be next with the monster of all girls from the deep. Nice fish, great company and it looks like great weather....... Thanks for this report. edit:( with the slow down load we have , only managed 3 pics but they were enough for us to enjoy)
  11. Nice late season lunge there pal. I know what it was like to get the boy away from the girlfiend for something 'WE' think a mite more positive in life but he could have been stuck in front of a video game or worse, staring down the barrell of some Jane/finch (Wherever) gansta! Good on ya......I say, keep 'em close while you can, Fishing is one of lifes wonders that make us all equal regardless of the size of your trolling motor or fishfinder. keep at him.....he should turn out fine............All mine did. Nice November FishBud...Nice. .........pete
  12. Weare still finding success with a medium sized spoons trolled slow. Spoons in 'Hotpink', Blk/Wht, and Mr.standby...Red/Wht Daredevle. Our line is #17 Trilene (smoke coloured) w/ #30 Seagur Florocarbon leader about 4' long.
  13. ThankYou for that................and thankyou DouG and Irishfield for for making it available for download too.
  14. Cliff.....ask for Johnny atTightlines in Pickering. I bought my 1pce nautilus ther about 2 years ago for $ 175. I think they were, $225 everywhere else. goodluck....pete
  15. ............be sure to first spool on a decent 50' or so of regular/cheap mono around 12lb for backing before attaching the PP or whatever braid you'll be using. I tie it uni-uni.....this prevents the braid from slipping on your spool. I'm using the same as both Lew and R.Clemons also........you cant go wrong
  16. Thanks all for your kind replies..... Lew, Yessir Bud....that Pic was actually an action shot and it has (they) have been framed already. ChromeHen...................BLUSH........BLUSH. Phil, You are so bang on right my friend...so very right about all the little things in life. Hey Mark (Keram)....Wow man...sorry, it wasnt one of my lures...actually broke down and went out and bought the strike king BobIzumi spinner baits w/chrome/brass blades and double skirt with trailer hook in bleeding red. Ahhhh Wayne........Lord no man, I never tie a knot...just a bit of hockeytape to the backing before the braid.........tied uni-uni.....never, ever thought it wou;ld go to being spooled tho......maybe theres a lesson there...I dunno..................Had to be several 100' on 'er.
  17. Hey Gerrit...wasnt planning on making it this year but sure would appreciate them well travelled boots if they are indeed still available..... My fatherinlaw and his bride is down for 3 days that weekend from NovaScotia... Tell you what, if theres room for about 4 hrs in your boat on one of these days Id sure like to get him out...hes always talking about the pickeral we have................Id sure like to accomadate him with a shore lunch or some to take home...hes in his 70's but still an avid fisherman just the same....Ive a floater suit for him What ya think Bud?.............if possible shoot me a PM -bNb BTW...........BOOTS..is a name Corey shoulnt be allowed to live down...........lord geeeeeeeeze son....how deep was the snow that weekend? If it wasnt that they were special boots for deep concrete I'd gladly donate them to the "BOOTS" OFC hallof fame in Coreys name ahahaha... Geeeeze Gerrit, I thought this was a PM..... Thats how you sent it to me.....OK...every thing stands as said. -bNb shoot me a PM Bud.
  18. I was away at work all week and arrived home late Friday night. When we awoke Saturday morning and looked out the back we saw the perfect walleye chop on the water complete with overcast skies and a thick mist on the water. I wanted to finish the front steps I'm building but my Bride insisted we go fishing (SIGH).... Out we went..... One pass of our MilkRun and Charmaine hollers out...FishOn Pete.... She waits for me to re-position the boat and passed the rod to me, She did the net job and after I removed the hooks, For the first time ever she actually took hold of the fish like a pro for a quick photo before SHE gleefully released this beauty...her smiles will last me a life time. I swear to the good lord...that smile and her success was so much more important then finishing those front steps and will be the happiest of memories..... We did go out again on the next day, the Sunday evening, and she blew it all to heck......again, a great memory tho as She...Hollers Out... Fish-On Pete.......... OOooops.....was still letting line out and never closed the bail........ I watched in disbelief as the spool emptied and another spinner bait was lost to a toothy critter. Ahhhhhh such is married life and fishing with the one the matters most in your life.... All in All..........Memories are made of these things...I love it! I hope everyone of you at some point can enjoy the moments we shared this past weekend. -bNb

  25. Team 4, TEAM FOUR, Team 4....oh-yessir! Awesome catch there buddy...... With JPD having eaten up all the categories pretty much that sure is one beuatiful addition for our us. I thought that with living on the water I'd be able to fish everyday but have found it to be just the opposite for one reason or another and that getting us a musky would have been a no brainer........again, no such luck. You did it Brian...way to go...and congratulations also on your first lunge of the season. As for the weather........Being a bricklayer, Ive learned to tell weather by the feel of certain ailments ive endured and that is pretty accurate...more so then the weather network. I still watch it in the morning just the same for current radar tracking and wind speed/direction. Nive looking monster you got there Bud...Very Nice. Peter
