I'm not sure unemployment in Chatham-Kent is driving down the housing prices, it must be due to other factors:

What can you do? Poaching in front of the OPP

And OI could have called the TIPS line .....same outcome anyway; they can't react effectively either. -

BINGO. It depends on the OPP contract with each municipality. Not all OPP are required or trained to enforce hunting and fishing violations which is why they often work in tandem with the OMNR&F officers. That said, it's far easier for the OFC community in general to toss these folks under the bus an ask questions later so let's not let facts get in the way of a perfectly good lynch mob. -
Yes....but I'm not posting links. Google it and you'll see lots!

I've seen a few TV fishing shows and read lots of articles in magazines written by some reputable anglers where they've used this method....surprised they were never called on it. I never really knew there was a rule about or a debate either I guess.

The smallest ones we were seeing in vast numbers in the Western basin last year are mainly the 2015 year fish. '15 was by far the best hatch since 2003 according to the reports I have read and '14 was very good too. I think the 3-4 lb'ers you were getting in the East were likely 14's. The '03 fish kept us busy for years and the 14's & '15's will be getting to an ideal size this year so it should be very good. I know the Detroit River is jammed full of small walleye (a.ka. 'smalleye') in the last two years so I think the fishing is going to be very good on Erie for a while at least.

According to my resident marine biologist (I raised one of my own), the biggest problem with this year's spawn is the very late return to warm water temperatures. When the fish have to wait too long for their preferred spawning temperatures (44-48 deg F), they tend to either re-absorb the eggs or spawn very poor quality, non-viable eggs. If the fish do spawn while the water is still too cold, the incubation period is extended and the eggs are more prone to predation, sedimentation, and wind. I know the water temps in the Great Lakes were around 3 weeks behind this year which he says doesn't bode well for this year's hatch. Good thing we've have some great hatches in recent years to make up.

I think the rule you are referring to is not new, it's been around for a long time. It is the second to last bullet on the bottom right side of page 8 of the current regs (snippit below). There has always been a debate however whether a dam that is impassible to fish is considered an 'obstruction' or not as far as the intent of the rule goes. The CO that I know insists that this rule is intended to protect fish that are trying to make their way upstream through a fish ladder or leap and that the if the dam is impassible, it's not a problem to fish there. Many others do not share this opinion however.

The legal definition of "terrorism", just for context:

These refs were pretty good the other night....the real ones, not so much. https://twitter.com/BarDown/status/988115552701964288

I agree John B, my point was that it's not an issue with service department, poor service, or wheels falling off etc. The dealer (ie sales department) should help get this resolved whether they are legally obligated to do so or not; it's called customer service.

Okay, make you a deal...... I will relax if you try thinking twice before posting comments that are barely relevant to the conversation at hand because you don't get paid to read the thread. How's that??? I don't get paid to relax either but I could give it a try I guess, I'm pretty flexible.

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with 'Chrysler' (who is actually FCA now) service issues. If you read this through carefully, it is a third party warranty company that the OP has his beef with because he DID NOT use his warranty which seems to me indicates that he hasn't had any serious issues with the vehicle.. The dealer however doesn't seem to want to help him out which is the sad part.

Even a tribute at this weekend's Nascar race....

Just for clarity, what regulation is being broken here if they transport fish in an unapproved livewell?

New update on the Gen 3 I assume? Gen 1 hasn't had one in years. I just installed the latest on my 3 and have had no hiccups between it and the Gen 2's whatsoever. I kind of doubt that update would be an issue but ya never know....
-
I'm wondering if the Gen 1 has crapped the bed....that's why I was thinking it may be an idea to disconnect it to make sure all is well with the Gen 3 before going too crazy.
-
As far as I know, the Gen 1 cannot and won't ever be able share maps over ethernet or NMEA networks. If it worked before I really don't know how. As far as all the other glitches going on, I'm not sure I can help. The temp probes on the WSBL transducers can go bad over time but that doesn't explain all the other issues. I would try disconnecting the the Gen 1 and see if everything on the Gen 3 is working and go from there....

Just to be clear, the Fish & Wildlife Act fines are mostly 'Set Fines' by the province or in some cases a range of fines. The judge can't just arbitrarily 'throw the book' at somebody if he's having a bad day or wants to set an example...

I have a very similar setup. My boat goes in my 7 foot door by about an inch but I did learn very quickly that it DOES NOT go in with the windshield open (an open window adds well over an inch to the height). I didn't wreck anything thankfully but it is only a matter of time before it happens again. The tongue height makes a big difference at the windshield too, my trailer dolly is higher than my truck hitch and makes it even tighter, The hump at the doorway has very little effect because the wheels are well inside the garage on the flat floor before the windshield gets to the door.

I see on the Costco site that the manufacturer's warranty does not apply...not sure how that would work..??

Looking for new graph...how important is side imaging

Bingo. The biggest problem with all this stuff is that people buy it, install it, and never take the time to learn how to use it effectively for their application. -
Call your bank and see what they say the best and most secure method is.

The weather buoy at Port Colborne has been out of the water for the Winter since November 25th....if it sank, it sank on shore! Port Colborne peak gusts were recorded at 104 kph by Environment Canada and 94 kph according to Weather Underground. In any case, the storm surge was huge and waves were massive. I took a drive down to the lake side of Long Point and it was pretty scary. Lots of cottages are in peril all along the point. The beach behind my friend's cottage was 150 feet wide 2 years ago, half that last year and now he has none as you can see in the picture! The Port Dover Pier was under water around lunch time yesterday and water all the way up to the Arbour.
