  1. not just the shallow water topwater, they are pushing up bait from the deep and I am getting 3-4lb smallies pretty regularly over 50-100ft of water doing the topwater game....its awesome ....
  2. the fall bite for smallies has started already because of the cooler water temps and air temps in central Ontario.....I was fishing and it was 5 degrees last weekend in central Ontario with a few lakes in the 68 degree water temp and some as low as 64....the smallies are putting on the feed bag ,,,,,,, :clapping:
  3. not sure about launches there but with amazing epic bass fishing just a few miles away Roberts lake is very small, and may not have public launch but lake joe,and many other wicked lakes are just around the corner try there instead.....
  4. iphone 6s here and I have 7,200 pics and as long as you store them properly you are good to go....ya I know its lots of pics and lots are fish pics too.....lol
  5. last time I looked I belive I have over 400 pics on photobucket and have had them there for years and some are very valuable.......damn....im afraid to check and to try and open mine.....
  6. I can now imagine that now the whole fishing world is now drawing attention to Algonquin park.....I bet there is people booking trips there that would never even have heard about the trout fishing in Algonquin park never mind the trohys that do lurk there.....there will be a few amaerican fishing shows probly on the way there as we speak.....
  7. totally amazing.....just wow......what a bucket list trip....thanks for the story I felt like I was there.....huge fish too.....unreal
  8. I have spent many hours on paudash lake and have done very well in the past....
  9. no there is the dam at the end of canning lake and that's where the drag river dumps out and is not suitable for a boat not to mention the rapids and falls further down....stay on the kash chain of lakes as you have several lakes to fish and lots of good water to explore......
  10. one week of bass fishing ....starting now

    1. misfish

      misfish

The lake I want to fish is not til next week. I am going on advise that HUGE buckets live there. The weeks wait is killing me.

Good luck and stay away from the bolts.

  11. that's pretty cool.....thanks for sharing some great ideas there....cheers
  12. I still have a bunch of glow NK ladderback spoons....as well I used to buy glow tape in the rolls and make my own colors and experimented with glow paint as well
  13. they work and work well.....I have been using glow spoons since the 80's on lake Ontario, and in the last few years the glow is getting better and better all the time......I have used them for lakers as well and in the winter for ice fishing as well....
  14. I have a few crankbaits and jerkbaits for bass that were hand made from a japenese lure designer and are one of a kind and are in the 35-40 dollar range....and yes I use them and they do catch fish........
  15. go troll another board huck.....don't let the door hit you on the way out......3,2,1,..........
  16. the moon cycle def matters but I base my fishing success more on the weather and barometer more than anything and depending on what species im after it can make a huge difference as well as the water im fishing weather or not its clear water or stained....but still anytime to go fishing is a bonus and I wont let any 1 thing be my decision maker and usually just go for it....in all types of weather....and because I have crewed on a salmon charter for many many years as well as grew up fishing walleyes you have to be good at adapting that's the bottom line .....
  17. no way I would be even playing around with contaminated gas....easpecially in my outboard when they cost many thousands of dollars and to be going way up there to hope it works.........just sayin I have been around boats for my whole life and have seen what it can do and seen lots of trips ruined because someone thought their gas from last year was good....gas today is pretty much crap anyways
  18. :good:awesome way to have an intro....and with a great fishing report....
  19. looking great boss....man your camp has sure come along way.......hope you have a blast up there...keep the reports coming ....cheers
