  3. awesome now it will only cost me $230.00 a week to drive from sturgeon lake to ajax everyday!!! grrrrr. .instead of the $250.00 it has been.....
  4. well its a tough one?? hmmmm i will go with a wacky rigged senko!!!! its awesome second choice would be a river 2 sea frog!!!
  5. there is NO wrong time to use worm harnesses,just vary the presentations at certain times of the year!! i use them in spring,summer fall...all the time,many,many times they will catch fish when nothing else will..time & time again,vary the blade size,the speed,the leader lenght,the weight or the bait,i also will use minnows on them leetches...as well as big dew worms....it is the most versitile live bait presenting lure of all time...and it sends out vibrations that drive fish crazy!!! i have caught everything from walleyes to sturgeon,big channel cats and of course muskies and pike go CRAZY for them....it never ends use them right away on the opener i am...

  13. cram said it first....remember long before there were computers YOU WOULD ACCUALLY HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR HOUSE AND FIND THESES LAKES,AND SPECIES BY DOING IT THE OLD FASHIONED WAY!!!! when to find out if fish were spawning or if the ice was out you had to go see for yourself....i think its at least an effort for the people who dont want to have to do the real homework on lakes and are not willing to go and explore i have fish probly close to 50 lakes or so that i just went and found all on my own,and yes ido have all the old paper maps,and stuff...and still use them as well as the new stuff..thanks for the link....cheers

  15. i had a pet chicken when i was a kid at my grandparents house near emily creek,and the chicken walked right up to a huge snapping turtle that was about 50ft from the creek, in the yard....and well you can imagine what happened to the chicken....he was killed instantly. ...oh the memories...lol
  16. hey cliff i waqs right by your house on sunday took a drive,and yes the ice is going fast i predicted the 9th about 3 weeks ago,so it looks like im gonna be right on the money we have a few open spots by us in thurstonia,but its thinning quick,also seen lots of walleyes spawning at the dam in lindsay!!! wont be long now and the crappies will be waiting for me...see ya on the water in a week or so cheers shawn
