Survival suits are one piece as well. Your floater will get you out of the water, but then you will be totally soaked. Have you ever jumped in the water wearing your floater suit? You should, you may be surprised by its performance. I jump in the pool with my survival suit on and I bob like a cork. If everything is zipped up and sinched tight I hardly even get wet. S.

We had a slow but steady bite near you guys. Nothing crazy, but real good size fish. I think we kept 15 between my gf and I, but they were hogs. Our group of 6 had about 70 keepers for the group. I've seen better days, but Im not complaining, we got some real brutes. S.

Yes, get someone else to look at it. We moved in June and our woodstove failed the WETT certification from one company, and passed it with another. It was all really, really minor details that failed it from the first guy, and he didn't know what he was looking at either. I tried to tell him what was going on, but he knew everything there is to know about this stuff, so I just told him to take his quote and burn it. We're up an running now, its great. S.

Reports are only 8-10 " on the bigger lakes up there. Talk to some locals first. Farquar has about the same, and a friend is on misquabi now reporting the same. Just use your head and you will be ok. There is a big culvert at the south end i would stay away from but i dont think there is much, if any current in there. Lots of good lakes up in that area. Pm me if your interested in fishing a different lake ive been running those woods for almost 30 years. Like i said, lots of good rainbows close by. They are tons of fun thru the ice and awesome eating. Good luck and keep me posted when your back!! S.

Wow....thats my cottage lake. Is is always sketchy at best. We havent even bothered going up yet this winter. There was a derby nearby on farquar lake today. I hope its nobody i know. S.

I often switch out the big trebles for singles on smaller inlines. Way better in the weeds, and if you hook them, you usually got em! S.
