  1. That sucks! Ask me how I know S.
  2. Nice! What was the secret? S.
  3. You can dry out seals if stored dry.
  4. Storing things dry is never a good idea. I'd rather have them full, and seafoam added than stored dry any day. I've honestly never had a fuel issue, other than a bad fuel line. I replaced the line last year, and it was original from '93, so it didn't owe me anything. I've burned fuel that was almost a year old with no issues, so I'm not really sold on the whole fuel going bad theory. I do, however, try to run ethanol free fuel all the time. The only time fuel with ethanol goes in my outboard is if I need gas, and have no other options, and I will only get what I will burn put in the tank. I'm lucky to have a few local gas stations around me that are 100% ethanol free, so I use them always....or shell V-power when away from home. S.
  5. I'd say that calls for a massive bonfire! As long as nobody was hurt, it could have been worse I suppose. S.
  6. I tried to straighten my bent axle, and it did work....for a while.....until I hit another pot hole. Then it pretty near snapped right off, and the opposite tire was so out that it blew not far down the rd. Replace it. Even if just for piece of mind. How heavy of an axle is it? Square, or round? That will make a difference too. S.
  7. Try here..... http://www.cerka.ca/catalog/EZLUBE.asp
  8. The EZ lube hubs are worth it alone. Think I paid right around $200 for my 2000lb axle with hubs and bearings all set to go.
  9. Try and find an axle with EZ lube hubs. Greatest thing ever, google it. I put one on my trailer a couple years ago. I got mine from eastons, on hwy 115 northbound, just north of newcastle for a really good price. They will build to suit as well. Worth a call for sure! S.
  10. Sweet! Congrats to kelli! S.
  11. There are some gas stations that are ethanol free in my area. Other than them, its shell V-power that has no ethanol. I run it in everything I own. Way better mileage in my vehicle, and no issues with my 2 stroke engines. S.
  12. Walleye-man?.......that's a bass. Just sayin....... S.
  13. The only FACT I've found here is that the locals who complained lived on the windblown shore. Any dead things would wash up there. Its not like we're hurting for bass. They are a nuisance as far as I'm concerned. S.
  14. Esso has ethanol in all their fuel. Shell V-powerr is the way to go, unless you have a no-ethanol gas station in town like I do S.
  15. Keep reading rules. The guy with the biggest fish in the derby does not win two prizes....its quite clear. Biggest fish over all from any week wins great grand prize.....that same person does not win a weekly prize. Understand? Its all in the rules. S.
  16. This thread is hilarious. We've had every possible fix known to man, but not one person has asked about the fuel line. How old is it? If it was my rig, I'd be replacing the fuel line and primer bulb first. You can't assume anything else until you know that is working, and by the sounds of your description, I'd say your fuel line is toast!! S.
  17. Hey Cliff, if you need a hand with anything, get in touch. I'm working the next 9 days straight, but I'm free most evenings. Please, don't be afraid to ask for some help, I'd be happy to do what I can. S.
  18. Read the rules. If the 40lber holds until the end, he wins the great grand prize....Toyota tundra. That brings all the week two entries up one spot, because you can't win a weekly, and the grand prize. So, if the 40lber takes it all, all the week two top ten entries will move up a place accordingly. S.
  19. The 38 would only win the weekly, if the 40 holds out until the end. S.
  20. I'd take a -20 white out with gale force winds over this crap any day!! Come on fall!! S.
  21. Lucky for sure. I take a real good look at all my suspension, and axle connections every time my boat comes off the trailer. I've just made it a habit. S.
  22. How much fence are we talking here? What size porch? I could do it al, but richmond hill is too far. If. Your having a fence building party, supplying the whiskey and steaks, I would consider it Check your pm's S.
  23. Location would definitly help.
  24. Just remember you can only use crayfish in the lake they're caught from. Illegal to transport them. I flip rocks with a net to catch them. Never tried the minnow trap though. Maybe a fish carcass as bait? S.
  25. And yes, fish gets checked for sure. Also, the fisherman can be given a lie detector test if there are any questions. S.
