Just looked at mine. The yellow/brown and green/brown off the trailer are both hooked to the brown on the new 4 way plug. All the rest just match the colours. S.

What colour are the 5 wires coming off your trailer? My trailer is also a 5 wire set up, into a 4 way plug. If I remember right, you just attach the two browns from the trailer to the brown on the truck plug. This is just from memory, so I may be wrong. If your 5 wire off the trailer has a blue wire, the blue is supposed to be for trailer brakes, and I believe hooks up to the reverse lights. Something like that anyways. S.

Very frustrating, bad gas in my built in tank NF

No, I'm saying change the fuel separator in the fall. Remember, water freezes, and breaks stuff when it expands. Do all your regualar maintenance in the fall, so it doesn't sit all winter with water in it. I store all my toys full of gas. Always have, but I use no ethanol fuel. I've only had one issue with ethanol and that was a fuel line replacement 2 years ago. Since then, no more ethanol. I also use seafoam as a stabilizer. I don't even trust stabil any more. Seafoam cleans the whole fuel system from the tank, to the exaust. I put a couple oz's in every tank of gas I burn, and about a half can in my last tank for the fall. Come spring, she's good to go. Did you remember your purse at least? Poor baby....should we call the whaaaambulance for you?? LOL S.

I put 450K on a caravan and towed my boat, 2 kids, and 100lb dog all over the place every weekend. Never had a single issue with that van. Drive in 3rd gear if its hilly. Other than that, just drive sensible, and you'll be fine. I think the people who crap on the caravans are the ones who haven't had one. S.

Stay away from the dealer. You'll be fine with the caravan. Fill up with gas, and have atter. S.

Change that stuff at the END of the season. Letting your boat sit all winter full of junk from a season of use is the worste thing to do. Come spring, you should just have to hook up batteries, and turn the key. All my maintenance is in the fall. When ice goes out, my rig is turn key ready to go. S. -
I wouldn't want to be limited to cooks bay myself. I'd rather trailer my boat to other lakes. Cooks gets too busy for me, and the fishing isn't all that great IMO. Its better than no fishing though..... S.

P.s...dont feel bad about targeting pike in bapptiste. There are enough of them to go around, and your not going to impact the population by catching a few!! S.

Lots of good laker fishing around baptiste. Ive never had great luck on bapptiste itself, but some of the smaller laker lakes are loaded. Drag a #7 or 9 taildancer 100+ feet behindd the boat and hold on. Ive got them as shallow as 12fow, and also caught lots trolling over deep open water. They're everywhere. Cover water and you'll find them. I like to be moving about 2mph. Another thing to consider is rainbows. Lots of stocked rainbow lakes up there, and they are eager to bite this time of year. Worm harnesses, small gang trolls with streamers and wooly buggers 18" behind work great. They're great eating too!! I love this time of year up there. Ive had a cottage in wilberforce for 26years, and look forward to the spring troutin the most every year! S.

Doug will chime in here im sure. He's about the biggest gun nut I know. Those brownings are great guns for sure, well sought after. You aint gonna get rich, but there is some value there for sure. S.

My go to ice out laker slayer is a rapala tail dancer. #7 or 9 depending how deep the fish are. The advantage of trolling body baits is you know how deep your lures are running. Your only guessing with spoons, and sometimes to get a spoon up high enough, you either have to run a short line, or troll faster, and the fish want longlines going slow. I use spoons too, but always cover depths with different diving baits first. S.

Good stuff Mike!!! Kids dont forget those days, and I totally get the satisfaction of putting others (especially kids) on fish! S.

I can tell the difference right away just by my mileage. I get well over 100km/tank more with ethano free gas. Every time. S.

I'd blame this on ethanol in your fuel, storing without filling the tank, and not using seafoam. Ethanol actually ATTRACTS water from the atmosphere. My boat engine won't see ethanol if I can help it. Unless I'm far from home, I use nothing but ethanol free fuel in it. S. -
I'm lucky that all the small gas stations in my area are ethanol free. Bethany, millbrook, pontypool.....all no ethanol in any of their gas. There are a few more around here as well....probably the same gas Lew gets in Lakefield. S.

Congrats! Your not the guy who trespassed onto my property and snuck up on my tom that was coming on a string and shot it, are you? LOL I haven't got lucky yet with my bird this year!!!! S.

What area are you wondering about? They run at different times in different areas. I've already got a few, but nothing crazy. S.
