Little Buddy Heater on a 5 lbs. propane tank.
David Chong replied to squirrel761's topic in General Discussion
Should work great in an insulated Otter! I was in a 4 man model last weekend with a regular Buddy Heater on a 5 lbs. Tank and you could crank it up like a sauna in there! LOL -
It was a very busy show! There were great crowds for the seminars and Troy Landry was a hoot! Fun times!

A great man and an awesome person, I have had the opportunity to meet and chat with Forrest many times over the years! He was a humble genuine soul and treated everyone alike! I will definitely miss him! RIP Forrest! -

We'll be talking HT products, Slab Grabbers, Navionics, Garmin electronics, Daiwa gear, Freedom Tackle and so much more this evening. Along with tons of ice fishing info, there will be a bunch of door prizes, snacks & refreshments to make it even more tempting. Hopefully we have some safe ice by then!

Scary stuff for sure! I'm glad that you & Cash are okay! I never take any chances, even though I'm prepared with a floater & ice picks. Be safe out there everyone!

Happy New Year to the OFC family! Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous 2020, full of lots of fish and a few PB'S! Cheers, Dave

Having owned about 12 different boats over the years, in my opinion, keeping the the trolling motor batteries as close to the back of the boat the better! This allows for the best performance for the boat!

Sorry for the delay in posting this request! It's always a crazy busy time of the year! I hope that everyone who attended the 2019 Canadian Ice Fishing Expo at it's new home at the Georgian College campus. I had a great time there, talking ice fishing with so many avid anglers. If you have any feedback about the show, whether it's about the location, the venue, lack of whatever, or too much of somethings, please post in this thread and I'll pass your comments onto the organizers. They are always very eager to get feedback and try to make the show batter each year! Thanks for your assistance in this matter & Happy Holidays!

I had quite a few great conversations with John back in the day but never had the privilege of fishing with him. He was an awesome writer. -
Merry Christmas to one & all! Best wishes for a Happy Healthy Prosperous New Year!

Drove through Orillia on the 28th and there were plenty of people out off of Tudhope! With these warm days, I would check the ice carefully if you're heading out! Walk in single file, have a rope that everyone in the group is tied off to, spud as you go & check the ice thickness every so often! If it is a warm day, I would make sure that I do the same coming in as you can lose ice during the day! Be safe out there!
