Once you have the app, you always have it, you do not need to renew your subscription to use it. But by renewing your subscription annually, you then have access to all the advanced features and updated mapping.

Yeah, glad they finally got it done!

Love GIANT Pike! Check out the one caught through the ice by Canadian Ice Fishing Expo speaker, Gordon G Pyzer while out with HT Enterprises Inc’s TGO, Tom Gruenwald Outdoors and In-Fisherman’s Doug Stange (About the 3 minute mark)! If that doesn’t get you fired up for the ice fishing season then nothing will! #MonsterPike #InFisherman #CanadianIceFishingExpo -
BiG NEWS announced by Navionics about their mobile Boating App. All you need now is one app and one current subscription and you can use it across all your devices whether it is on an Apple or Android platform. This makes what I believe is one of the best values in boating or fishing an even better value! See full details and how to access your app across all your devices! https://www.navionics.com/usa/blog/post/boating-app-one-subscription-for-all-your-devices?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=cross_platform_app_2019&utm_content=us_blog_1222019

Got a pair a few years ago from Angling Outfitters, you definitely need to get a pair a couple of sizes larger than your regular shoe size. Very lightweight!

Sorry for the late report as it's just been crazy busy! Recently the 2019 Pan-Am Bass Championship was held in Cornwall, ON on Lake St. Francis. In August there was a qualifier held there to form Team Canada, I was lucky enough to qualify along with partner, Rob Lee 2nd overall. Team Canada 2019 was made up of captains, Bob & Darren Izumi, Andy Kinstler & Scott Lecky, myself & Rob Lee, Jason Gramada & Nicolas Gendron, Stephen & Phil Hegarty, Brian Hughes & Anais Chaves, Matt Massey & Robert Greenberg & Ryan Flaro & Bob MacKenzie! Weather was a huge factor as day 1 was cancelled and the event came down to 2 half day tournaments on what would have been day 2! Although Team USA swept the pairs medals, Team Canada won the Nations gold over a star studded line-up of American bass pros which included Bass Fan's #1 ranked pro, Jacob Wheeler, 4 time FLW AOY, David Dudley, Scott & legend Roland Martin, Team Mexico and a First Nations team! An average weight of all the pairs was used to determine to Nations gold medalists! Now I have a gold to go with my silver medal from the 2018 Pan-Am Bass Championship on Lake Okeechobee! Full results can found on the FLW site https://www.flwfishing.com/tips/2019-10-18-canada-wins-gold-at-pan-am This is definitely a hi-light of my fishing career, there was nothing on the line but national pride and the medals! Special thanks to FLW's Jody White for some great coverage!

In Ontario we have plenty of lakes that would rival the fishing on George & other lakes in New York, it was just beautiful and different fishing especially in terms of the deep Largemouth! Although they have a much longer season, other than a similar “catch & keep” season that we have in Ontario, the rest of the year is “catch & release”! Not really sure if New York State stocks Bass so I had asked a few friends down there but have not received an answer yet! Lake associations like the one on Lake George are strong proponents in protecting their waters! We had to have our boats inspected prior to launching and then tagged each day for the next day! There is even “Boat Wash” station all around the lake to help prevent spread of invasive species! There is also a usage fee for the lake which was $20 for the week that we were there! This gives them funds to monitor ramps and inspect boats, possible stocking etc.
