  1. Maybe compare the cost of your meds to from there to another. Media was on yesterday morning discussing how the circle 'paint' hopefully was environmentally friendly. Same stuff used for soccer and football field lines buy hey now is the time to explore this 'crucial' issue. Nothing better to discuss? How about 30 day limits on prescriptions and more dispensing fees as result. How about the $$$$$ saved by government not having to pay pensions and security on now deceased elders. Government knew all along our seniors were going to be targeted by the virus. But our PM will 'discuss' the military's report on Long Term Care facility elder abuse tomorrow with the Premiers. I am so tired of repeatedly hearing "My heart goes out......" "Elders are our first priority..." or best one I have seen yet, where both the Premier and Toronto Mayor each stood there and crowed " Oh proud to be here at the opening of this big Food Bank" trying to skim some kind of credit over it. IMHO needing more food banks simply means our gov't isn't helping those in need enough. They should be made ashamed of this by the media not 'heroed'.

  3. I had a Starcraft Holiday 18 footer and it was a fabulous boat for big water. Exceptional hull. I had that one out in twelve foot swells off Bluffer's Park one time. But it was a bit big for back lakes and I swapped it away when I moved to Kingston. Good memories!

  8. Just wanted to give a heads up that if you're boating on Georgian Bay to be very careful if you don't know the water especially when venturing outside of the buoys. The water this year is the highest that I have seen it in 20+ years. Entire islands are now submerged just below the surface. Lots of potential hazards out there. Good news is that the high water has given a lot more spawning areas for Bass this year. Be careful guys.

  11. How about a deep v StarCraft aluminum? You can get some deals on older boats That have already been renovated. Or pick one up cheap and build and power it the way you like. The super sport model is their bow rider fish and ski type. They have been building them since the late 60’s. The later models were thicker welded aluminum hulls instead of riveted. You can find is up to 22 feet long in the older models There was also the 18 to 22 foot holiday models. Closed bow. Deep v. Usually inboards, but the occasional outboard comes up. Your jeep will probably tow all of them

  12. Not a cent extra in my account, maybe they are running out of money? As for the dispensing fees: I have been dealing with Loblaws pharamacy for years now, they blister pack my perscriptions in to daily doses but they only supply two weeks at a time however NO dispensing fees and they deliver them to me for free. If I need extra because of going on holiday no problem all I do is tell them how much I want and they supply it.

  13. I've had my 250 G2 HO for 5 seasons now, going on its 6th. Tons of torque and decent on fuel with no issues. Mind you I don't run everywhere at WOT. Most of my running is at 60% throttle which pushes my boat 45mph. Plenty good enough for me and it came with a 5 yr warranty. Lets face it, tournament guys are the hardest on their gear. WOT to a dead stop then off. No time to stabilize temp or lubrication. Then over and over again. IMHO, BRP isn't dropping OBs because of failed tournament (ever watch F1??) , its all about profitability. Maybe they can't make any money in that market. Its a picture of poor management, not product reliability. Case and point, I know of a dealer in ontario that puts etecs on Lunds. I talked to the owner and as someone who sees this stuff every day, he likes the etecs better than the others. Has a G2 on his Tyee...hmmm.

  16. I have never had one personally on my boat but did fish multiple times with a friend that had one. For the weeds we went through I can say it worked quite well. Cabbage, coontail and lilies usually aren't too bad anyway and the video Ohio posted sure looked after reeds. The only criticism I had of owning one is on the owner, not the blade! Because it went through weeds so well, he had a tendency to plow through to get back into the thick stuff and expect fish to sit in 12" of water while the thing chopped salad. It's NOT quiet! Old fashioned pull poles are work but don't scatter the fish and shut them down. It was nice coming out though. If you get one, let's us know how it goes.

  17. Probably adds up to a lot less than they are paying to the 20/30 year olds that are mortgaged to the max and then some, new cars in the drive, maxed out credit cards and mega cellphone plans, don't have any savings , living paycheck to paycheck and now can't afford their $7 morning lattes screaming " HELP ME " cause there is a hiccup in their paychecks coming in.

  18. Sold their plane division a few moths ago. Their rail division is done, now their outboards. They should be looking for a crapload of taxpayer cash soon. I guess we wont be seeing any of the money we lent a few years ago. I hope they dissolve completely.
