Sad part is , that most of the kids that get free breakfast at school do so because the parents are too f'n lazy to deal with their own before they head off to work and dump it on the free provider. In my day parents would have been ashamed, but the free for all society has apparently dismissed any dignity! 5 % I feel sorry for, because they truly need the hand out.

Still fishing NW Ontario 16 - 23 days a year, every year. Still catching my share of nice pike, but have shut down on taking photos. They are unhooked while in my huge Frabil net, net is lowered and pike smiles as she swims slowly away. No out of water pictures, but a couple of short movies of the release, using polarized lens as fish swims. Fortunately I haven't aged a bit. God and medical professionals are punishing me by having me live too long.

Lots of big pike have been posted here. A few examples.

Id imagine people don't like sharing spots anymore. To many people lurk forums that aren't members and then just go to these spots were they see fish. So if someone posts big pike in lake x. Guess what lake will have 100x more people at it.

Wayne. Those are the 5% kids I was getting input on whether to try and help. The rest have parents looking out for them. Oh re P3TA ... good joke! No I'm not. I've killed many critters sometimes in tough weather. Some here know I diver duck hunt. Oh and I'm not a narcissist either.

Who's starting to get excited for ice fishing season? I know the itch has started for me.

I don't know why they don't allow 2 rods per person on Georgian Bay except that it is a way to have limits that are very hard to reach. If would be nice to have a 2 rod rule on G-Bay.

Two firefighters were hurt in Toronto last night when they fell from a roof while fighting a fire. One is in critical condition, prayers go out for his full recovery!

Problem is then you'll have guys fishing two rods for bass, muskie and everything else out there...

I remember our first Hallowe'en in Manitoba, -10 and 2 feet of snow. Do you think that stopped the kids, nope. Dress right and fill the pillow case. My boys went out twice to make sure they got a full load.

I can understand that reasoning, but Why change it now? What if it rains or snows on the last friday? Do we change it to the next day with a nice forecast? How about we leave it as it has been for hundreds of years, and deal with the weather as it comes. S.

Another avid hardwater angler here. Not long now. Boat is put away last week but I still got out yesterday from shore. Makes me laugh, people in town always asking if I'm sad fishing season is over, there is no such thing as fishing season being over except for the 2 weeks it takes from first ice to safe ice.

my wife has ordered from them. she ordered a blouse and when it came it was too small, so she called them and they arranged for a new one to be shipped,, just the other day one of the guys at coffee told me that his bank called and said they had a charge of over 400 dollars on his visa from wish, he didin't make any purchase so the bank is checking into it. that would be enough to scare me ofany purchase.

Changing Halloween is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Enough helicopter parenting. If you want candy that badly, grab a poncho and an umbrella, also a flash light and go get your candy.
