I bought a knockoff plano type there but the latches were sticky.

 

The stock in the different stores seems to vary quite a bit. I have gone looking for items posted here but not much luck.

I managed to grab more of those plano boxes last month. Sweet score for only $3

Just a heads up, they sometimes have them at Walmart too in the sewing section, along with good beads for harnesses and even powerpro lol(my wife sews)

I picked up the knife about 2 weeks back at one of my local Dollarama's but they did not have those frogs at mine.

Thanks for the heads up. Rainy day, so hit the store. Grabbed 4 frogs. The 2 black ones are cool. They rattle, I had to hit 5 stores til I found the knife. It is very nice. Quality is very good.

So I have been using my first knife for deboning chicken,trimming up pork loins and such. What a great knife for doing this. I have yet to use it on fish,as I haven't caught any since I purchased it. LOL

 

Took a wander in the same store I found my first and they had some 6" left, so grabbed another. At the back tool wall, they had the larger 9" one. Same price,$4. Had to get it, as I know it,s going to make a great roast and turkey carver.

 

If you like a sharp quality knife, I would advise grabbing these. Totally impressed.

I check the Grimsby store periodically for the Plano boxes with no luck. If anyone sees them in another store, please let me know. I'd like to buy another case of them. Thanks!

The majority of people who bought those plano cases were little girls who used them to store their loom bands. If they sold so well, Dollarama should make a note and restock them more often.

I could use a few more Plano boxes but it isn't life or death.. My old ones have latches that are breaking off... I will give the frogs a test soon..

B they had a few at the store at Weston and 7 but NOT shimono. They had frogs too!
