grimsbylander Posted June 2, 2017 Report Posted June 2, 2017 So that's how they make rubber frogs.... There has to be a wearing a rubber joke in there somewhere!
pics Posted June 2, 2017 Report Posted June 2, 2017 I remember the last Dollarama item.. The $3 Plano box.. Long gone now!! If you are interested in these get them while you can.. Lol
grimsbylander Posted June 3, 2017 Report Posted June 3, 2017 I remember the last Dollarama item.. The $3 Plano box.. Long gone now!! If you are interested in these get them while you can.. Lol That was a good one. I bought a case of them!
SirCranksalot Posted June 3, 2017 Report Posted June 3, 2017 (edited) I bought a knockoff plano type there but the latches were sticky. The stock in the different stores seems to vary quite a bit. I have gone looking for items posted here but not much luck. Edited June 3, 2017 by SirCranksaLot
PUMP KNOWS Posted June 3, 2017 Author Report Posted June 3, 2017 I remember the last Dollarama item.. The $3 Plano box.. Long gone now!! If you are interested in these get them while you can.. Lol I managed to grab more of those plano boxes last month. Sweet score for only $3
manitoubass2 Posted June 3, 2017 Report Posted June 3, 2017 Just a heads up, they sometimes have them at Walmart too in the sewing section, along with good beads for harnesses and even powerpro lol(my wife sews)
pics Posted June 3, 2017 Report Posted June 3, 2017 I pass a half dozen Dollarama stores just running my errands... I guess I will leave extra time when I can..
LittleWorm Posted June 4, 2017 Report Posted June 4, 2017 I picked up the knife about 2 weeks back at one of my local Dollarama's but they did not have those frogs at mine.
misfish Posted June 4, 2017 Report Posted June 4, 2017 Thanks for the heads up. Rainy day, so hit the store. Grabbed 4 frogs. The 2 black ones are cool. They rattle, I had to hit 5 stores til I found the knife. It is very nice. Quality is very good.
PUMP KNOWS Posted June 5, 2017 Author Report Posted June 5, 2017 I was told they have a 9" inch Shimano knife too at $4
misfish Posted June 18, 2017 Report Posted June 18, 2017 So I have been using my first knife for deboning chicken, trimming up pork loins and such. What a great knife for doing this. I have yet to use it on fish,as I haven't caught any since I purchased it. LOL Took a wander in the same store I found my first and they had some 6" left, so grabbed another. At the back tool wall, they had the larger 9" one. Same price,$4. Had to get it, as I know it,s going to make a great roast and turkey carver. If you like a sharp quality knife, I would advise grabbing these. Totally impressed. The frog supply was pretty much history.
ketchenany Posted June 18, 2017 Report Posted June 18, 2017 The frog supply was pretty much history. Huck 674 was hunting again!
grimsbylander Posted June 18, 2017 Report Posted June 18, 2017 I check the Grimsby store periodically for the Plano boxes with no luck. If anyone sees them in another store, please let me know. I'd like to buy another case of them. Thanks!
PUMP KNOWS Posted June 19, 2017 Author Report Posted June 19, 2017 The majority of people who bought those plano cases were little girls who used them to store their loom bands. If they sold so well, Dollarama should make a note and restock them more often.
SirCranksalot Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 I have only been able to find the cheap knock-offs in my $rama.
redpearl99 Posted June 20, 2017 Report Posted June 20, 2017 I got those frogs from Dollarama a few years ago.... hooks rusted after first day of use
pics Posted June 20, 2017 Report Posted June 20, 2017 I could use a few more Plano boxes but it isn't life or death.. My old ones have latches that are breaking off... I will give the frogs a test soon..
misfish Posted June 25, 2017 Report Posted June 25, 2017 Has anybody seen the 4" fillet knife? I have been looking, cuz I want 1 or 5 of them. No luck so far.
ketchenany Posted June 25, 2017 Report Posted June 25, 2017 B they had a few at the store at Weston and 7 but NOT shimono. They had frogs too!
