Thought I'd share our special father & son moment...we left the boat in the garage to throw a few spoons in the river at Grandpas house and hooked into this "monster" He did as well as a 2.5yr old can do to reel it in, with a little help from Dad ;) . I've never seen a kid so excited until it came time to hang onto it for the photo op. and found it was "too slimy Dad" LOL! He was happy it swam away for us to catch another day. Pic quality is not great due to using a cell but you'll get the idea.

Great post. Hope it's one of many more to come for you and your son.

That's an amazing accomplishment. At that age if I caught something like that, it would've been the talk for weeks. It sure looks like a biggun.

Nice!!! 2 and a half years old, you gotta love that. I think you will have a new fishing partner that you can groom over the next few years. I hope you guys enjoy a lifetime of fishing fun.

Thats great, I have a picture of my sons first fish on the wall and I plan on it being there for the rest of my life. Now I just have to add my 2 year old daughters first fish to the wall to.

Wow...my first fish was a 3 inch sunfish...your son gets a pike!!! LOL.

Great job...I'm sure we just saw a pic of your regular fishing partner one day....
