DRIFTER_016 Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 The Jets won a game? Impressive! They had 47 shots against the Redwings last night. Keeps the wings in third. If they had won they would be leading the division.
kickingfrog Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 (edited) Just bought my ticket for Rangers v Maple Leafs at Madison Square Gardens on Dec 23rd. Never been in MSG. Second trip to Manhattan. Best part, the whole thing was my wife's idea. Lucky man. Edited November 6, 2013 by kickingfrog
DRIFTER_016 Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 How much were the tickets there KF? Gotta be pretty spendy in New Yawk. Anywhere near as bad as T.O.?
kickingfrog Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 Comparable. Low upper level centre ice $112 US total on stubhub.
kickingfrog Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 Peanuts compared to 4 nights in a hotel in midtown.
DRIFTER_016 Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 Got my tickets to see Tampa Bay in March (in Tampa ) off Ticket Roundup. Going to see T-Bay/Boston on March 8th (Row 5 top of the circle Boston end) $100 a piece. T-Bay/Canucks on the 17th of march (same section and row but mid circle) $47 a piece. T-Bay/Sens on the 24th of March (same section row 4 mid circle) $45 a piece!!
kickingfrog Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 The Rangers have dynamic priceing. The Islanders are in on Friday, same section, same price as Leafs. Sunday the Wild are visiting and the seats are $79 or so. In the lower, level premium seats, it is difference of $200 per.

Well seeing as you put it that way then id have to agree..lol our group has done amazing this year. Best year ever, .Only 1 tag left!
BillM Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 Can't wait to see Fraser back on the ice. Brings a physical presence that's been missing on the D line.
kickingfrog Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 And on the sixth day there was hockey.
Headhunter Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 7:30 start time tonight I believe... that should make for an interesting time at my band's gig tonight! Usual start time for us is 9:30, but the "crowd" gets unruley if the band starts playing in front of the TV screen! LOL HH
kickingfrog Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 If they come out flat like the last game the crowd might be glad.
Headhunter Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 (edited) If they come out flat like the last game the crowd might be glad. My band or the Leaf's? LOL I hope Randy's little speech today gets them motivated. HH Edited November 8, 2013 by Headhunter
tb4me Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 (edited) Today is Clarksons big night..First game against his old team..I feel a big game for him..Farzer is back and Brenier starts..GO LEAFS GO!!!! Oh and no more 6 day breaks please..... GAME DAY: The Toronto Maple #Leafs looks to get things back on track, as they take on the New Jersey #Devils. David Clarkson has told the Toronto media that this game is defiantly marked down on his calender as Clarkson faces his former team & teammates. Mark Fraser will be back tonight, after missing 13 games with a lower-body Injury. Goaltender Jonathan Bernier will be your starter tonight. misfish Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 I always and still am,a firm believer that when a goalie stinks out the house, get him right back in there. Reim should of got the start IMO. I still think he,s the better goalie.

Oh an a positive note I cant wait to see how JVR does up the middle at center!
leaf4 Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 I wouldn't say reimer stunk out the house if I'm reading that correctly I'm looking at it as a negative? he played phenomanal against the Canucks but there's only so much shelling you can take before the stronger team gets the pucks past you and in his case they were all tough saves no softies that night.
misfish Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 Wrong way to say it. After a bad loss,he should be put back in right away.
leaf4 Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 yes I agree he was by far the best player on the ice for the leafs for the full 60 mins imo
