Richie Razor Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 One would think that eventually MM would just give up and admit he was wrong. I guess not though. As we know, Senoritas are gluttons for punishment by the hands of the leafs. Just ask Dave Dziurzynski http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-nj4lKXZih4&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D-nj4lKXZih4
Guest ThisPlaceSucks Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) Then the considerations for a team that has never won a cup must be even greater. The senators are in fact the winner of the stanley cup 4 times...the leafs 6... and we weren't a franchise for 60 years... Talk about an inconvenient truth! Edited October 15, 2013 by Dr. Salvelinus

davey buoy Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 The Leaf's have won the cup more than 6 times. I like to let them have there moments lol.Makes them feel good .
kickingfrog Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 The two teams that have played for Ottawa are not the same. The sens can claim those cups all they want. It doesn't mean they earned them. Montreal only claims cups won by their franchise not by other teams in the city. What's next? Will the New York Rangers claim the cups won by the Islanders? Or vice versa? That is the inconvenient truth.
manitoubass2 Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Yep vrs minnesota. Up 2 zip in the first. Reimer is in net
tb4me Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 good first so far! We have to stay out of the box..Reily to Smith..OMG what a futureGo Leafs Go!
lookinforwalleye Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Well 2-1 is good but being outshot 18-3 is not....good thing somebody named darcy kuepner is in the wild net.
tb4me Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Well 2-1 is good but being outshot 18-3 is not....good thing somebody named darcy kuepner is in the wild net. Thats cause the Leafs spent 15 of the 20 min short handed.. Shots are a tad more even in the 2nd so far....
tb4me Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Wow Mason Raymond what moves....Made me gigggle like a school girl
lookinforwalleye Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Thats cause the Leafs spent 15 of the 20 min short handed.. Shots are a tad more even in the 2nd so far.... 2 minutes for embellishment!!!!!!! Lol

DRIFTER_016 Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 YAWN!!! Another win for the Leafs.
kickingfrog Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Big game for Reimer. Two more points.
Richie Razor Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Yup another win for the boys in blue. Lets keep it rolling boys!!!! The team had all 4 lines playing well, and without JVR too. What can I say, Toronto has a deep team. Can't wait until Mclaren comes back and we play the bruins and the sabres...
lookinforwalleye Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Very impressive outshot 37-14 and win 4-1 The Leafs should take the wild tenders out for wings and beer!
manitoubass2 Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 I liked the decision kessel made on the empty netter. Class act!
Guest ThisPlaceSucks Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 with the return of clarkson i think the leafs will have all the offensive pieces in place they need for a cup run... i still think they need some serious help on D, and being outshot most games sort of illustrates that they need to tighten up. be interesting to see if they make some of their deep prospect pool/future picks available for some D help.
Raf Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 a real test will be this saturday in chicago hopefully jvr will be back, clarkson will still be out. not sure what fraser's timeline is but they could use him back there.
lookinforwalleye Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Sorta of stating the obvious here but defense is played by all 6 players on the ice.

Now they have a whopping 3 points.

What I meant by seeing the leafs play buffalo, was I want Frazer Mclaren to exchange pleasantries with John Scott.....
