Who knows if Bishop would have made a difference, Bishop was not exactly setting the world on fire post olympic break with a 2.80 gaa and a 904 save % and remember this kid never played in a post season game so who knows how he would have played in a playoff situation. Montreal was firing on all cylinders all 4 lines going....and simply put the TB defense and team defense was atrocious looked worse than the Leaf D way to many turnovers, breakaways,2 on 1`s etc...TB hung a young inexperienced goaltender out to dry!!! If Boston gets by Detroit and I have no reason to believe they won`t I looked forward to a Montreal... Boston series they are usually pretty entertaining and full of emotion and don`t think for one minute Montreal is intimidated by playing the Bruins!!! Steve Posted April 23, 2014 Report Share Posted April 23, 2014 thats because in the new nhl having 100 points doesn't make you that much better than a team with 90 points.... often that simply means you got more overtime points.... remove that silly rule, no more points for loosing, and a team's points (and place in the standings) will mean more.
