Fish Farmer Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Three of us went to St. Williams Sunday and each brought home 15 to 25. My biggest was 14" We fish past the huts and a little west, away from the crowd. Used a micro jig with a Perch eye and also used a Buckshot that caught some of the bigger ones. Ice was bare and made pulling the clam out a breeze.
The Urban Fisherman Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 wow those are some nice looking perch! Good work!
pics Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Nice fish Dave...no machine?....thats a long haul but with cleats on it's much easier i guess....
misfish Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Right on bye. Nice catch. Just need some chips and dressing to go with them.

Fish Farmer Posted February 21, 2013 Author Report Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) Like someone else posted earlier - how long a walk would that be ?Thanks everyoneRob, I would say about 1 KM and the ice was good for walking, cleats were a must. Good luck if you get out. Edited February 21, 2013 by Fish Farmer
