Jonny Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 (edited) From the title I thought you might be getting serious about a girl. Why would you want a truck with mud on it that you can't wash off? Edited August 20, 2009 by Jocko
Fisherman Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Now, now Brian, I realize that as we get older, sometimes we regress a bit to our younger years and get things more fit for a "young" person. you can't retrieve your youth and beauty sleep doesn't work.
cambo Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Looks to be an awsome truck.I was actually reading up quite a bit on this truck yesterday. Enjoy your off roading, now I wonder if they will let you test drive it off road
Fish4Eyes Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 If you want to scare youself away from it look at the fuel consumption specs.
Terry Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 a painter must have owned it and splashed some black paint on it....I guess they will discount it for that
Cudz Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I think if you wait a bit the raptor will come with fords new 6.1 liter engine. Pretty serious offroad potential from a stock pick up. Lots of susp travel and comes with 35" tires. Have yet to see one on the road. Pretty $$ though
aplumma Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Never buy a truck with a 4 letter word n it's grill.... Art
Fish Farmer Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 A least you don't have to be worried about it getting stolen. It's a Ford . Thats why I own one. Mines an FX4 off road crew and it has a 5.4 Triton. It gets between 20 to 21 MILES to the GALLON on the HWY which I figure is not bad, city I don't want to know . I try and keep it 2000 or under rpm. on the HWY. I wish I'd went the 4X4, a little softer ride. But a heads up on the tires price, I have the 18" $350.00 each compare to the 16" $130.00. Good luck on your new ride.
misfish Posted August 21, 2009 Author Report Posted August 21, 2009 Ford said they would have one on the lot, come September. As for the price,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 60-72,000 dollars. Im back to looking at the smaller ones.LOL
