hey guys, it was great meeting and fishing with all of you yesterday. we'll definitely have to do it again real soon. even though i only had 2 hits all day and didn't catch anything, i still had a great time. i really wish we could have gotten out earlier in the morning though...like 8:00 or so. maybe we all could have caught at least one fish each if we didn't have to wait around on shore for so long...eh Boots??? Jokes! Anyways, I'm looking forward to the next time we meet up and go fishing.

Gerritt:...I'm glad your trip turned out well...being with a bunch of OFNers makes for a good time...fish or no fish...

"About 45 minutes after picking up Scott I hear OHHHH CRAP!! (that is never a good thing on a fishing trip) Corey exclaims "I LEFT MY BOOTS AT HOME!!!" kinda too late to turn back now.. so here is Corey in his running shoes going on a ice fishing trip... not a good idea.."

Dang !!!..that sounds familiar...Now where did I hear that before Big Cliff ??? I know!...it was the trip to Airport Road that your neighbor Paul came along...

Good to hear everything turned out as well as you'd hoped Gerritt, and it's always nice when you can meet up with a couple new OFNer's for a day of fish'n.

Geeze Gerritt, thanks for posting such a flattering picture of me! :w00t:

Thanks for putting everything together, we had a great time. It's too bad that Dax was the only one that caught any fish though!

It was a great trip for sure. The 130am wake was a little agressive but Gerritt had the coffee ready to go when I got there which made it easier. The fishing started off slow but a bit of exlporation started to yield better results. It was a blast meeting a bunch of OFC'ers and getting out for a day of fishing. Bg thank you to the staff at Carra's for the extra mile they went to help us out. Thanks also to Gerritt for putting it all together and driving down.

Look forward to doing it again soon.

Next time though I think everyone is gonna double check that the boots are in the truck :D

Gerritt......Slow getting back to you Bud...But it was a great outing on the BOQ, only made even more better by spending it with fellow OFC'rs.

It was great meeting all your Buds even the 'Bootless' ones and awesome to catch up with Adam an Sandy again.geeeze, those two are busy, good on them.

We'll have to make this an annual I think.

I had a good feeling you'all would get into fish when we moved the camp...sorry I had to leave..........Geeeeeze, had to leave to pickup some firewood..only heat we have at the homestead..turns out Buddy wasnt even there until today, Sunday....that really got my hair up. Forsure we couldve stayed a mite longer.

Anyhoo, glad everyone got their BOQ catch........

Picked up my firewood this morning and its all chopped now for the stove.....dang near 2 -1/2 face cord.............Lemmeseeeee, 4-5 hrs and approx., 10-12 Bohemian Beer.not to shabby for a sunday.

After last nights Leaf game.......and the firwood...I need a break so its off to work tommorrow, I hope.

Gerritt....anytime Bud....anytime and we'll do it again.....got my number right?

Wait till the summer comes and we'll troll/cast some 'ski's up here Bud!

Take care,

pete

Hi Guys,

Great to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves and sounds like the laughter started early after leaving home. BOOTS.....well that might just stick LOL........Sorry I was not around to join any of you and hopefully if you make another trip up I will do my best to join all of you and get in on the fun. I know there will be others coming up here in the spring to enjoy the walleye fishing when it opens and I look forward to seeing eveyone.

Glad I was of help to you..ooops I should say glad that Glen and Laurie were of help and I knew Glen would put you in the area to catch fish. He knows this whole BOQ like the back of his hand and he has always steered everyone in the right direction. Again many thanks guys.

Best regards,

Sam

Great company made it even better, it was great seeing you again Gerritt, It's always a pleasure meeting more OFNers. LAughs were had, fish were caught, fingers were frozen, coffee was drank and beans and hot dogs were eaten. Realy great day is all i can say!!

Lots of thanks go out to Gerritt for setting it up, driving us up there and being my Camera man... :D

Can't say anything bad about Gerritt, he even left his hut at home because there wasn't room in the box of his pickup with mine and Coreys huts and all the gear in there... Seriously Big Thanks go out to Gerritt for everthing

Ever fish out from Trenton? My son is playing hockey in Trenton on the weekend and I thought I'd throw the gear in the car and head down early..... the arena is right at the lake. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers!
