O/T ice storm here

Freezing rain, sleet, most of the schools are closed and driving is headed downhill, don`t know if it`s headed your way.

I am driving to Orlando on Saturday evening. Hopefully things are cleaned up by then.

Don`t know which way you go down there Cudz, another storm is supposed to be hitting east of here, my daughter is supposed to be flying in Saturday evening from Rhode Island and is worried about airport closings and delays.

I just looked at the weather and it looks pretty nasty for the upper midwest and northeast, heavy snow and ice. Looks like a good day for a hot cup of coffee and some hook sharpening!

Ha, they're calling for more snow south of me for once...they say it could get nasty for the evening commute home, so those in Toronto and on that line, do yourselves a favour and leave at lunch time

 

Me, I'll be sitting by the wood stove with a good book and a nice cup of tea.

Well its in full force here in Chatham at 6am the roof on my carport was clean by 6:20 it was totally covered with snow and its not letting up it will be a long day here I am glad I am off work for teh holidays Be safe to anyone who needs to drive if not STAY HOME

around here, it totally goofed up plans I had for almost a week to get out trout fishin in the boat ..good thing I went fishin on Tuesday or I would be totally bummed becasue the day we had the musky G2G..2 of my friends out in 2 boats had days of about 20/boat..and then the wind and weather turned a bit around here and the river has been spent for a couple days.

In Gatineau, we were suppose to get hit big time but now calling for 10cm's of snow and temps going down to below -20C..... Right now temp @ -16C with windshield -22C from the NE... Brrrrrrr

400 south is closed at Aurora rd. due to several accidents near King Rd. 401 looks pretty bad too...
