SlowPoke Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Thanks for checking in Glen, I hope it was an uneventful trip. I was supposed to go back to work last night but I called in and asked for another day off! That five and half hour drive killed me -Brian

Clampet Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I'm not sure Jed, but I did put it all on my credit card so I could tally it up next month when the bill comes in. I will say that the best deal on gasoline was in South Carolina @ $3.71 a gallon, and the worst was Ontario @ $5.13/gal ($1.35/liter) South Carolina also had the best deal on cigarettes at $23 for a carton of 200 name brand cigs. I'm guesstimating $356.25 for gas.
JohnF Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Ya ... but where do ya get the shine...... Friend of mine gets his from the retired sheriff. It's pretty good stuff too. JF
JohnF Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I'm guesstimating $356.25 for gas. Just to put that in perspective, an acquaintance of mine says he'll burn almost $300 in fuel for one day of prefishing a tournament, and close to $150/ day during the tourney. Of course, his boat IS pretty fast. Anyone wanna sign up for a bass tournament? JF
danc Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I'm guesstimating $356.25 for gas. I'll guess double that amount.
Nanook Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 I know egzakly how you feel Glen. I did a 9 and a 14 getting home from P.E.I. and was totally wiped out. Glad you got home safe and sound [and got Art home as well, and Joe and Pops ]
