Made Some Muskie Baits

My wife gave me a muskie spinnerbait kit for Christmas so I had my first go at making my own baits. In fact I stayed up and finished them all on Christmas Day evening :rolleyes:

 

They are nothing compared to the baits Roy, Robin or TEP make, but it is was fun :thumbsup_anim: and since I can't go icefishing :glare: it passes the time.

Here's a size comparison to a regular bass size spinner bait.

Played around with the number of beads, types of blades and length on each and will have to see which works best. :)

Nice work Jim! Just a word of warning though.......do you have any idea what kind of damage you could be doing to your fore arms when those baits suddenly stop very abruptly and tear off in the opposite direction while you are retrieving them? Don't do it! Just leave 'em in your box and all will be good!

Joey, I didn't really time how long it took, the instruction kit is pretty easy to follow.
