  1. Great report!! I always look forward to them.
  2. I love that town. I spent the better half of 2008 in the salt mine running a crane for the shutdown. My wife and I became quite smitten with that town. A beautiful part of Ontario. The town square shown in the photos is very charming. This is terribly disappointing to me.
  3. Some real nice fish there. Thanks for the report.
  4. Instead of fishing people are becoming drug addicts and gamblers, IT'S CHEAPER!!!!! Depending on who you talk to, more respectable as well. Lol. :-p
  5. That place is beautiful. Incredible.
  6. Less anglers means less people who care about anglers rights which leads to less anglers rights.
  7. Don't let litterers ruin your hope for humanity. Genocides, war, rape, and murder should have already had it beat.
  8. Way to hammer em. I would love a day like that.
  9. That thing is awesome.
  10. It is not a form of conservation if it is auctioned off, that would called a sale. The north's lakes are for sale, and once sold you will not be able to fish them anymore unless you pay some private lodge owner a hunk of money. Closing roads that already go to a lake do not make it remote either, that makes it restricted.
  11. Brave New World is a great book. The way this world is heading, I wouldn't mind some soma myself.
  12. Good for you on the outing. Good luck with your career, I hope something really good pops up for you. Those really good fishing days mean so much more when you do not get out as much. I had a 15 salmon night a couple of weeks back and it was extra sweet because I do not go out nearly as often anymore due to long hours and a little boy. Glad you got into a bunch. Cheers.
  13. Awesome fish. I have yet to crack the 30 mark. You guys must have been stoked up pretty good.
  14. I have a feeling that Hasselhoff has nothing on you guys when it comes to running down the beach in slow motion. Congratulations on being born and continuing to exist. Well done.
  15. Two thumbs up!!
  16. Awesome fish man. Wow.
  17. My parents have a Rockwood very similar to Drifter's. They love it. It has been all over the place. There last big trip with it was across the country to B.C., Yukon, and Alaska for a month last spring-early summer. I have used it Algonquin a number of times and I love it too. Here it is in Algonquin with my truck and my old boat.
  18. Nice haul!! Nothing beats a successful day on the water
  19. Really cool. Make sure to tell your son that loose lips sink ships.
  20. Wow, that is fantastic.
  21. Great fish!
  22. Your right, it was king of the hill. hahahaha. I thought it was Homer... Great episode. Here is a clip
  23. I use crack like Homer Simpson. Salmon love big chunks of crack.
  24. Keep the fastballs low in the strikezone. Keep your hands behind the ball, don't get under the ball. Thats how those pitches get up at the letters. Don't let power hitters extend their arms. Oh one minute, your talking about fishing. Never mind.
  25. Name her 'seven'.
