Awesome. I love the pressure canner, I have been meaning to get one. Is that an All American pressure canner? They look great. Beautiful Whitefish!

I feel the same way. Thanks for your contribution to this discussion Drew and thanks to ehg for bringing it up. I know next to nothing about this but I will add one thing. De Beers is making a killing from the diamond mines and they should be forced by the government to help or get out. De Beers has made mountains of money in Africa and has not done anything but fuel tribalism, hatred and slavery amongst it's people. They are not a trustworthy corporation (are any?) so the Canadian government in my (uneducated, ignorant and meaningless) opinion should tag some more demands on to the conditions of their mining license. Transportation of materials seems to be a very large issue. De Beers gets all sorts of mining equipment up there. Wherever De Beers seems to go, they fill their boots as the people who live where they extract live in severe poverty. We shouldn't allow that here.

The recipe card on the right under the dish to the right of the yankee tasteless light beer reads poulet. The dish clearly is not chicken. You must have changed your mind before starting to prepare your food.

I read that yesterday, I found it very interesting and informative. It explains that side alot better than I had previously understood. I still do not understand the majority of the issues and quite honestly do not have the time to but this is a good short valuable read.

Two thumbs up.

St Jacobs has one as well.

It is currently my favourite time of year to fish. Unfortunatley due to a very demanding working schedule and a toddler at home I am waiting for ice up. The boat is away in storage.

Holy crap. I just saw this guys website. He must have a 'giant musky' dispensing machine somewhere hidden on his boat. It looks like he has been flirting with 60 inches for a very long time. Congratulations.

A buddy I work with is the uncle of the twins that play for London. They live(d) with Hunter. He says Hunter is an incredible mentor. The fact that Ovechkin stopped playing for Boudreau is a bad mark on him. If he plays better under Hunter it is almost proof that he quit on Boudreau. I always really liked Ovechkin but now I am luke warm at best on him. I hope Hunter finds success in the NHL.

That is incredible. What a monstrous fish. Congratulations to the captain for putting that guy on that fish.

Dale Hunter is in. Great hire.

Well done. Looks like a blast. Being super busy at work has prevented me from getting down there again this year.

They aren't getting any money out of me this year. I already have way too much stuff.

I didn't notice if the Senators played last night. I only pay attention to the good clubs. I know Buffalo lost a bad one and Boston lost in a shoot out. Pittsburgh slaughtered some team. :-)

The last 19 of those years (assuming you switched to the Sens in their inaugural season in 92-93) you have been cheering for a team that has also not won a cup. So it looks like, if you are consistent, in another five or six years you will jump ship on the Sens. Good, then you can be a blow hard to Sens fans and leave us alone. :-)

Does it get uncomfortable at work? :-)

MuskyMatt: Enjoy your "Seasons in the Abyss" with the Senators. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvuO2EvCTAE You can come back to us any time man. The doors open brother. It will feel better to be a Leafs fan again like you were before. Just joking, take a hike out to the Corel Centre or whatever they call it this year. Bwahahahahaha!!

Wow. That is neat. My grandfather was deep in France. He was a professional soccer player in Ireland before the war. They were guarding a fuel station they had taken from the Germans. He was in charge of the group. They had lost all communication for a very considerable amount of time, no machines came back for fuel. They figured the Germans had destroyed them. Instead of getting killed by the Germans and letting them have all that fuel, he decided they would blow it all up and die killing off as many Germans as they could. They blew it sky high. No Germans showed up. The war was over and nobody told them. They figured it out about half way back to the beach. He got back to England and met and married my Grandmother who was a member of the British military. Her job when the sirens would go off in London was to run out and release the balloons. The big balloons would go up with cables attached to the ground destroying German bombers. My grandfather kept a journal of his experience in WW2. His story was told with the typical Irish flare. When my mother and aunts read it out loud to us, there is always laughter. I guess they didn't stay clear enough of the exploding fuel station and got singed up pretty badly. That is a funny part. I should find out which aunt has the journal and go and read it with adult eyes and maybe appreciate the heartbreaking parts of the journal as well.
