  1. bring on oct1 got my antlerless tag for 77
  2. You should invest in some 10" jointed believers. We have caught plenty fish while trolling over 5mph on them. I troll those baits 99% of the time all over the kawarthas.
  3. johnny if in the future you are looking to get an 18'+ boat. A 75 isn't gonna cut it. You should be thinking 115 ish. fuel will probably run you more with and under powered 75
  4. Thanks for the offer... i found one at ct for 40 bucks.... 25 does sound a lot better though. I hit 3 diffrent ct's to finally find it!
  5. I was at bps because i needed a 10lb cannon ball... I couldn't belive my eyes when i saw the $70 price tag... Lead is worth more than copper these days or what? Anyhow does anyone know where i can pick one up at a more reasonalble price?
  6. Nice haul! Can't wait to give lake O a try!
  7. There are no musky in pigeon
  8. I spend a lot of time on the water chasing muskie and eyes. Its actually funny how many musky you catch while walleye fishing and how many walleye you catch muskie fishing. My biggest eye was caught on a 10" musky lure and a few of the biggest musky were caught on 1/4 oz jig head and while grub. But catching a musky on musky tackle well not many things come close!
  9. We did very well too!.... Maybe 5 cars at sibbalds when we left the launch. We were pretty much boxed in when we got back....
  10. Very well put!
  11. I think that all depends on the lake... Personally in the kawarthas this time of year i catch most of my fish between 8-12 fow. Like mentioned above green weeds!
  12. I wouldn't expect any less from you! lol
  13. The rods went for 70 bucks...
  14. I hope you get'er done too! I cant take anymore of that second hand smoke the odd time we fish together
  15. Nice haul! I know where that is lol .... Who wants to go?
  16. comments like this are the reason a lot of people dont post pics or put up reports....... Nice bow!
  17. I was thinking the same...
  18. Nice fish dude
  19. The feeling is mutal when you take me to your perch hole! lol
  20. I'm gonna give those baits a try this season. I have never caught a single crappie Thanks for the advice Steve
  21. Every spring there is a line up to get into the classic. What happend was lowrance couldnt supply the eagle so they gave them the hds5 for the same price. Pretty sure this became aware after they printed the flyer. The employees at bps, which are fisherpersons themselves probably got the heads up or word leaked out and thats that. After all they are customers too. I dunno maybe im not sour because i was able to get one. Bps can never win with some people. They offer a great deal which people want and they still get bashed lol
  22. Yup sweet deal indeed. Gonna install it next month!
  23. Like mentioned above for steelhead fishing the sedonas drag is a lot better, but for bass walleye and pike, both reels would do fine!
  24. I'm very impressed with my riverkeeper frogwater. Very well built and a dream to fish with!
  25. I have a few sedonas and a regal... Both great reels for the money. I think they are neck and neck in quality so i think this is where personal preference takes over. Test them out and go with what feels best to you. What do you plan on using it for?
