Got invited to a cottage on 3mile lake. The cottage owner isn't a fisherman but he does tell me there are walleye in the lake? Anyone ever ice fish this lake or by chance know what species are in it. Any tips would be appreciated. There are a few 3 mile lakes, the one I'm referring to is in the muskoka are. Thanks in advance gang!

I live in the 27 and langstaff area and many times while on 27 doing 70-80kph it looks like im sitting still compared to some of the drivers out there. Why is everyone in vaughan in a hurry? Are they affraid the bank is going to repo the $100 000 benz they can't afford?

You should look for a used reel. There are so many options... Personally if you can find one, a tournament drifter or G loomis float reel shouldn't be over looked. They are like tanks built to last! Sometimes you can find them for as low as $100. I would take one hands down over any raven or okuma but thats just me, I'm old school

Lund,princecraft,crestliner... Can't go wrong with either of the 3. All depends on personal preference, i've had a starcraft for 11 years and still good as new! No matter what you buy someone out there has had a bad experience with it!

I usually run my offering half (sometimes more than half) the depth of the water i'm fishing... For example 3 fow= 1 1/2 of lead or less. Problem with crappie is that not all crappie lakes fish the same. Good luck on your search!

I have witnessed many times charter boats coming into port credit with 4-6 people all with limits of rainbows. I think this is more of a problem than us in the rivers keeping the 1 or 2 fish a season. Its not about one group being better than the other, its about conservation. So if we cut out roe fishing the only females that would die would be the ones the lake fisherman kill? How fair is that?

Looking to get a chip for my HDS unit for this spring/summer. I do most of my fishing on the kawarthas/simcoe. G bay, nipissing, rigging on lake O and possibly erie. If anyone can recommend a chip that might suit my needs it will be greatly appreciated... I have no experience with any of these chips

A law is a law as far as i'm concerned. They are not there to be broken they are there to be followed. Forgetfullness imo is no excuse. I have had friends that forgot their fishig license at home and got tickets. Sure if this happend to me i would like to be sent on my way without a ticket but not everyone is that lucky

The side hooks will tangle when you tip the williams with minnows! I've also found when fishing for eyes that if the fish comes up for a look at your lure slowly pull up your jig the eyes will usually follow and often this will trigger a strike.
