Mono to mono, Triple Surgeons hands down! The "Triple Surgeons" knot is far superior in my opinion and so much easier to tie! The "Double Uni" is also a solid knot, but a pain in the ass to tie in comparison to the "Triple Surgeon."

Funny, I've been getting my dog vaccinted for protection against Lymes but yet I can't get vaccinated. Personally I have a few friends diagnosed with Lymes, not good! One is a member here on OFC and I was thinking about him just the other night. Been a while since I heard from you Tambo. Several years back I had one removed from my left shoulder blade, fully engorged, had to have been there for 3 days before it was discovered. For the record the the wound has never fully healed, nasty buggers!

I would suggest a slow cure (24 hour) epoxy Emil and the tiewrap Mercman suggests is a great idea! Unfortunately the stuff I've been using for 35 years is no longer available (LePage..... ) I would think the JB weld would do the job, just don't use any of the quick set 5 minute crap.

Well it hasn't rained a drop here in Hamilton Terrence, but none the less I'm stuck inside too. Been working on a few custom rod donations, one will show up at Lakair in the near future.

If you can show up Brian, do so I'll make sure you're looked after with roof and boat. Mind ya ChrisK is in charge of my boat keys so you'll likely have to spend time with him.....
