  1. Show's awesome. The Magic crankbait show is one of my favorites, it in real time. Damn, what show can you watch a pro lose bass, get hung up and show you how to get the bait out . Oh ya, a show without major editing and cutting. Keep it up Mr. Mercer!!
  2. Thanks Victor that was one of my options. The thing is my net looks like it took a hit from a Mack truck. So I have to go new. Pigeontroller, Frabill is the way I would like to go, but I will look into Beckman nets. Thanks
  3. I was looking at the same one the other day. Thanks for the review it sounds like a good net.
  4. I think it's time to put away my old boat net and buy something that's fish friendly. I am going to use it for Walleye, Bass and fair size pike. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
  5. The pods were set up close to the open door. They also took a few odd/cheap things.
  6. The funny thing is I live in a good area.
  7. For the price it's a great deal. The Pinnacle spinning reels are decent as long as you take care of them. The baitcaster's, well, the post above say's it all. I have the same rod and for the money it's great.
  8. I will be all over carping the next two weeks. If I see it I will let you know. It suck to lose a pod, I had two Solar pods stolen out of the garage.
  9. I have a buddy that uses spinning for flipping and loves it. He uses a 7' heavy with a Daiwa Tierra 3000.
  10. Just tie the power pro to the steel leader. No need for fluorocarbon. I use fluoro for crankbaits, but it just a habit. I have a couple buddies that tie directly to the crankbait and swear by it.
  11. I just get them in the garden after a rain fall. I am up to 10 dozen in a Worm Storage System it's a great system.
  12. I bought a couple last year, believe it or not they are great. A buddy that works for GM told me the Kirkland battery is made by AC Delco.
  13. Hope this helps a little. AGM (absorbed glass mat) like Optima Batteries.
  14. Nice carp!! That must have been loads of fun from a kayak. What was you setup, rod, reel, bait? Do you anchor the kayak? Anyways, great job.
  15. 24v source hooked up to a 12v system. I don't think that good, but if you see BLUE smoke, it's done.
  16. I sometimes use a 1/0 Gammy wide gap with a 7" worm for Bass. It will sink a little slower.
  17. The ones from BPS are more stable then a single PVA tube. The PVA tends to wobble, the BPS model are really solid, because of the bracket holding it. Irishfield is right watch the bridges. I never had a problem with the rods in any way, I have 6 rods strait up, from 7"- 7'6".
  18. I use this and screwed it into the console. Rod holders Hope this helps
  19. For match/float fishing I tie up my leaders in advance, with a loop at the end. This way I put the loop through the swivel, and the hook through the loop and pull tight. That way I can change my presentation quickly.
  20. A single hook on a inline spinner VS a treble. Makes it somewhat weedless. When using a trailer hook on a spinnerbait, put it on with the hook facing down, opposite from the main hook, you get better hook up with shy bitters.
  21. I wouldn't know what to say. Looks like a MAC truck backed into it. Give Daiwa a call 1-562-802-9589, they might charge you to fix it, but it would be cheaper then a new one. It looks like it just needs the body, I would actually order the parts needed and put it back together, it's not hard. You will get it back quicker, unless you don't mind waiting for repair.
  22. Wrong rivets, like Irish said. Get it done professionally.
  23. WTG!! Nice fish. Looks like you all had a great time!!
  24. WOW!! Looks like you had a blast. Bar in the pool, nice!!
  25. The pump can't be used on all motors. The pump actually screws in. My 50hp can be filled with the pump. My 9.9hp uses what you bought. Basically drain the fluid, once drained put the nozzle of the oil tight to the bottom hole, and squeeze till the oil come out of the top screw. Oh, ya don't remove the top screw, just loosen it. When the oil comes out the to screw, tighten the screw, and replace the bottom screw. This is how I do it every year.
