  1. That's funny. May be this would help. http://www.madebyhumans.com/
  2. Great start on your collection. The only thing I can suggest are the DT4 and 6 crank baits. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&id=0017619 Daniel
  3. The Tierra is a good all around rod for the money, it's light and has a good back bone. The exceller is an entry bait caster, I went to LeBaron and forgot to check it out, if its anything like the Tierra caster, then you can't go wrong for the price.
  4. Animated fishing knots. http://www.animatedknots.com/indexfishing.php Hope this helps. Daniel
  5. I have a 2 page list, kinda like a gift to me, but nothing I want from Bass Pro is on sale. So, this morning I woke up at 10am, went to get gas at 66cent, looked over at the Bass Pro parking Lot, and said "HELL NO!!!". I hate boxing day around here, with the mall and all. Happy Holiday's Daniel
  6. WOW great gifts. Gift cards are always a bonus. Merry Christmas.
  7. Merry Christmas to everyone at OFC!!
  8. I was heading to Bass Pro to pick up two TD Pro's, when intuition told me to call first, even though I am 2 mins. away. So I called and the employee said they are sold out of every size. CR$P. I guess I have to find something boxing day. Just a heads up!! Daniel
  9. Looks like you had a great year. Nice carp!!
  10. I change my braid every couple years or so. The line doesn't go bad or rot. If my spool is low on my baitcasters I do change it. Daniel
  11. I left after I posted and I'm back. They don't have the bags out, and won't have them till the 26, I guess I will have to stand in line.
  12. Did you notice if they had the Browning bags on the floor.
  13. TBF is right spot lights can't be used. The light in the lure is the exact same thing as glow jigs, spoon, lure so on.
  14. Over the years I used all kinds of brands, even customs from the UK. It is a personal preference. Strike king tubes are nice with a smaller, soft profile, BPS brand is very similar and cost less. The, can't remember the name, something like Salty Fat tubes are pretty good. Don't spend a fortune on tubes, despite the shape and size they all do the job. Just don't cheap out on the hooks. Daniel
  15. I bought a couple years ago when they were on clearance, something like $4.99. I bought the lip less and divers. They run true out of the box. The nice thing is the light flashes only when in water. I did manage to catch some bass and walleye at night. When retrieving them at night close to the boat they freak you out, you see a beacon coming to the boat. I cant find them on the web, but I think the brand is Blaser. EDIT:One mor thing. I changed the hooks when I purchased them, they looked cheap.
  16. Saw that vid a while back, but it's still awesome. Thanks for posting it.
  17. I made one a couple years ago (I did post it here), and attached a small siren. When to rod sets the hook the siren sounds. Has adjustable pin, so you can use different rod strengths. It works great, but never tried it on the ice. I'm not into ice fishing that much. EDIT: Mine is only good for ice rods.
  18. Sorry to hear about this, what a shame. I browse ebay and many classifieds day long, I will keep my eye open. Sorry again, Daniel
  19. It says the 26 - 4
  20. Check out this site, you can study online, http://www.boaterexam.com/canada/education/
  21. Lots of great prices. For those that want a 16 rod, rod rack it's $17. Some stuff id 50% off or more. Click and check it out http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...&storeID=11
  22. The exam is really common sense. Some companies, you pay when you pass. There are a lot of companies at the Fishing Show, that you pay when you pass. I did it when the card first came out, I don't know if the exam changed in any way. Crack down, I can see that. 90% of the time I get stopped on the water for a saftey check, more won't hurt.
  23. What are you using the casting reel for? Crank baits I like 12lb mono or 10Lb braid Spinner baits - buizzbaits 30-50lb braid Jig n pigs 50-80lb braid depending where I am fishing Senko, soft swimbaits, tubes 20-30lb braid I like braid a lot for bass, but mono has to be used in some situations. If you are using it for all around then don't go lower then 30lb. Hope this helps Daniel
  24. I had the exact same problem last year.
  25. They are nice racks. I had 2 of the bass pro ones, the stands that go on sale every year for $29.99. Gave them to my buddy he loves them. Great deal BTW!!
