  1. Was the MNR not coating their eggs with shellac at one time? May be effective but sounds labour intensive and therefore $$$$.
  2. HAHAHA see??? pick and choose the stats which are opportunistic. 1967 = no Stoty. There's one difference hehe
  3. Stats are great but most people use them too conveniently. For instance, the 48 year Leaf stat, the 23 year playoff Red Wing stat...all true. How about the Red Wings 41 year Stanley cup drought? Or the 11 Stanley Cup wins for both the Wings AND the Leafs since the 1927 absorption of the WHL? The Leaf stats are what they are...and they're NOT good, but if you're going to look back in time, look at everything. Detroit's been a winning organization in your generation for sure.
  4. Fairweather fans?? LOL Stoty that alone shows how limited your Leaf knowledge is. Most of us were Leaf fans about the time you Mom switched you to solid food and now you're explaining to us how hockey team should be run. If you think it's just Leaf fans who are disgruntled with their team, get on the Ottawa web site forum. Or better yet, look back at the bashing going on in DETROIT when they were hovering near the bottom of the heap. 6 Games into Detroit's playoff run the bashing will begin and around here it'll be "Stoty who"?? GONE. hahahahaha Oh we're waiting!! Detroit SUCKS and everyone knows it.
  5. I kind of agree with BillM...except, I don't think 50LBS will fix Kuli. There's smaller guys in the league that don't vanish for 15 game stretches. And Gunnerson? Hmmm not sure, being the best D man in Toronto is like being the one-eyed guy in the land of the blind. The Clarkson/Smarties comment was hilarious though. Maybe if Shanahan comes to town they can be the dynamic duo from Mimico!!
  6. Kessel couldn't handle the intense spotlight of the C in Toronto. My guess is he'd even turn them down if asked.
  7. I'm surprised to can't find something closer to home. There has to be someone in Detroit making it!!! LOL I'm really sorry...I couldn't resist! Last crack I promise.
  8. Come on that's a great toy!! You just have to read the fine print. Initial purchase price is $12 then it's 7 million a year for the next 7 years. Playable for 22 minutes a day but works well for 12. Remember where you left it, tends to be out of position and hard to find when you really need it. Other than that it's awesome.
  9. I somehow doubt that. You'd switch teams faster than I could say "Detroit who"?? Haha your posts after it was nice and safe it get lippy pretty much sum up your lack of gonads. MuskyMatt had the stones to do it in the pre-season and rode it while his team tanked. You're looking pretty silly here.
  10. Yup! They can partner up with OttaWAAAAAAA! The battle of Ontario is for last place!!
  11. Would this be all Yamaha motors? 2hp to 300hp? Two stroke and four stroke? Regardless of whether you troll 8 hours a day or red line it spot to spot? Blanket statements like this don't help anyone looking to buy something. New buyers should talk to people that fish the way they will and preferably run a similar boat with the motor size you're in the market for. Then go to the local dealer and talk to them about sales and service.
  12. I guess even the Ukraine has a Rob Ford.
  13. I've had a gbox for a very long time. Actually, I gave my first one to my son when he got his own apartment to save him from having to paying for cable. I replaced to with a much faster unit and a remote that is dual wireless mouse and a keyboard. I can't imagine how much this thing has saved me in nights out at the movies and rentals!! It has paid for itself 10 times over in movies, FLW, National Geographic, Documentaries, and BBC1 programming (Mrs. Browns Boys! LOL)
  14. It also matters what you're running off the main as well. Cranking plus...pumps? electronics? how many? Side/down scan?
  15. ^^ I agree! And it may come in the form of a guy who has been publicly humiliated and charged to boot!
  16. Hahaha an Ugly Stick. Good one Wader!
  17. She was playing games. Plain and simple. She was having fun boxing the guy in and when he lost his cool, it cost him. When it comes to traffic enforcement, I only see two things get enforced. Speeding tickets and accident charges. That's it. Sitting in the left lane and speeding up so people can't pass, running late through intersections, no turn signals, rolling through stop signs, blah blah...none of these seem to matter anymore. I guess the fines aren't high enough to justify the time it take to write the ticket.
  18. Yet another example of some clueless moron sitting in the left lane and pissing off everyone else. The guy in the truck lost his cool and it cost him.
  19. Things have changed since those days...now she could be a "little Leo"
  20. There are vehicles that are designed and made to tow and those which are simply able to tow. If you choice the latter, you take your chances. If you have to choose the latter, try to mitigate the risk by staying well under the towing capacity, no overdrive, use tranny coolers and proper hitch assemblies. Even take a second vehicle if possible and load it with passengers and supplies. The fuel in the second vehicle is still cheaper than a $1500 ++ tranny and an afternoon on the side of the highway.
  21. Haha good one! I lived in TO for a few years so I "qualify" to be driven nuts as a Leaf fan! Lol BUT, you got me thinking so a google mapped my home address to the First Niagara Center and then Air Canada Center. Exactly 82kms to both! Looks like I'm half way to nowhere!
  22. Yes. They are round shaped motorized machines which were designed to peel potatoes. They work incredibly well on potatoes and I've heard they work great on perch. I have one but have never put fish in it. I can do 10 lbs of potatoes in minutes though!
