I pulled out of the driveway with the onboard charger still plugged in. Made it EXACLY 25'. -
Hope everyone is going to get spoiled with family time, a BBQ and maybe a couple new shiny lures! Have fun.

I think the PC and NDP parties learned a lot about proper campaigning. Next time all they have to do is Photoshop Kathleen Wynne holding an OOS bass. -

Yes really! Stop showing such care and concern for your futures! The election is over, it's time to graciously admit defeat and follow the first lemming over the edge. There is no place for public opinion in democracy. Silly people. We're Canadians and everyone knows Canadians don't fight back. -

Voted! Good or bad, right or wrong, I feels good to exercise that privilege as a Canadian. I will NEVER not vote. -
Deep cycle battery back at Costco

MCA is simply a different measurement rating for marine batteries. CCA is measured at 0 deg. F MCA is measured at 32 deg. F -
Yup we all know how aggressive they can be. The "etc" I put in after crankbaits was to cover cigarettes!

You're right! So, what are you doing?

I need a 4 bank for my boat...guess I'll be shopping for a Dual Pro as well.

You're stating the obvious. Targeting OOS fish is illegal and whether you've been fishing 4 days or 4 decades it's still illegal. We all agree. Now pay attention...the issue is the grey area when you're fishing for one LEGAL species in a way that others PERCEIVE as you targeting the OOS fish. To imply that there are no common angling techniques between species or that people don't make irrational judgements is as near-sighted as believing people don't target OOS fish.
-
You are absolutely correct. You can't battle someone else's perception.

A graduated fishing license??? You're kidding right? A few jerks break the law, just like any other laws that get commonly broke and out come the cowboys to form a linch mob and those ready to make more unenforceable laws.

Oh great, the home version of Dr. Phil. Should we start another thread for those of us that actually want to discuss the election? -
I think this has been beat to death...You can't train OOS fish not to bite, they all hang out in similar water in May and June, they all love spinnerbaits, jigs, crankbaits, etc., we can't judge people's intent even though some people here think so, and if eliminating OOS fishing was as easy as some suggest, the MNR would up the fines and have a field day raking in money. So, buy your license, limit your catch, leave the lake or land better than you found it, call the MNR if you suspect a law is being broken AND have a nice day. Oh yeah, take kid fishing. Did I miss any?

Here's a no win topic! I so indecisive! I can't choose between the snake oil salesmen who wants to use Ontario for a financial science experiment based on hidden formulas... A career-at-all-costs person that will sign anything, side with anyone, spend any amount of money while saying she has taken responsibility for something the tax payers are fixing... Or someone who thinks she's talking a good game when in fact there is zero substance to her actual platform and her only hope is the other two make even bigger fools of themselves so she may win some fallout votes. ...I'm sure any one of them will put Ontario and it's tax payers first and do a great job. -
The fact the west is dominating this series 3-0 is not too surprising. I don't think many people had trouble predicting a cup win in the west. March 19 I posted "west = cup". Pretty easy call to make.

I went from hoping both teams would lose to not caring which team wins.

Anybody watch Anger Management last night?

Yikes...2100 liters of, no doubt, premium fuel ...from a marina = cash in rrsp's to go fishing. Beautiful machine though.

No one has ever regretted having a larger screen but tons of people upgrade all the time. I'm a Lowrance user but the idea is the same...when using side scan or downscan you want a larger viewing area. Mainly because you want to do a split screen so you can see where you are on you map and/or you want to see your 2D sonar. I will commonly split my screen 3 ways for this reason. Following a contour line, marking fish, and using sidescan to isolate structure would be tough on a 5", but not impossible.

Check out your local B.A.S.S. chapter as well. Club tournaments are usually only $30-$50 and you have the option of entering as a boater or a non-boater. Non-boater can be a good option on unfamiliar water.
