  1. Never did very well on Walleye. Muskie on top water or spinner baits. Drop shot worked well for bass. Watch out for the idiots tearing through the narrow channels. In a canoe you will be quite vulnerable to getting tossed by big wake.
  2. Ya know what guys, at 68 I don't put off anymore. Yes lumber prices are/were at an all time high but life is short and as far as we know we only live this life once. Just finished this and I swallowed hard and paid the CC bills for the lumber and other materials.
  3. LOL, one of my senior techs told me he needed a bigger hammer. I was about ready to chastise him until I actually saw why he needed a bigger hammer.
  4. Funny how gas prices have become a secondary focus.
  5. Glad that you finally made it guys. Enjoy, de-stress and have fun. TJ, Monique will let you catch one or two, I'm sure...😏

  7. I needed them quickly as I ran out. I broke down and went to CT. Going to search out other options up here. Thanks guys.
  8. I have had less issue with getting email to say my item is ready than when I arrive to collect my curbside pickup I am there for a half hour or more! To watch them deliver orders is painful. 5 or 6 teens with no instruction or guidance carrying order out to cars one item at a time. I must have seen this one kid go back and forth 10 times each time bringing out one small item delivering it to a car and strolling back to get the next one! Why not load a trolley with multiple orders???
  9. Tried a few grocery stores around here and none do..
  10. Hi all. Can anyone tell me where I can buy natural sausage casings. I have been buying hog casings from Canadian Tire and they are not the best, mostly short pieces. Don't have a Bass Pro or Cabelas locally. Anywhere in the Hamilton, Burlington, Guelph area would work.
  11. PM Spiel, he has a large tiller on his Lund.
  12. There is a fight going on right now up here about the town of Erin wanting to release treated water into the Grand. The issue is the temp of the water will increase enough to finish the natural specks off for good.
  13. And all barbless, single hook, catch and release, I believe.
  14. Now ya talkin'! Fished those relentlessly on my brown river in the UK..
  15. Just flurries here Lew but significantly colder than earlier in the week. Had 18 degrees now -2...!
  16. When I got the muskie bug many years ago I went gung ho and bought the lakewood box and probably $600-800 in lures. Found myself using the same 4 or 5 baits continually so eventually left the box on shore and took the baits and rods already set up and a couple of extras.
  17. A wench? Is than newfie for winch?...Or are you dreaming?
  18. Great report Andrew. Hope that 2022 will be less stressful!
  19. good reel for casting 5oz weights off the beach....🙂
  20. Yeah Ford was very aware that they had issues with Coyote 2018's. A couple of members of this board found out first hand. Some 5L's were burning a litre every 1000Km's. They seemed to get it under control in 2019.
  21. I was a Ford guy through and through. Had 3 F150's in recent years. Last two gave me sleepness nights. Both had V6 Ecoboosts. Between undiagnosed misfires and electronics that would go blank and reset while driving. I also know at least 3 friends who have had problems with 2018/2019 F150's with 5L. Huge oil consumption. I assume that Ford has fixed the issue with 2020/2021 models. So, I went to the dark side. Bought a 2019 RAM Rebel with the Hemi. Love it so far. Put over 30K on it and not a squeak. Gas mileage around town is not quite as good as the V6 Eco, but with the trailer or boat on it's night and day. The twin turbos were forever kicking in on the Ford and mileage went down. On an East coast trip I was averaging around 25L/100Km. Unless something unforeseen happens I intend to keep this truck 'till either it dies or I do...or, maybe a RAM TRX if I will the lottery..🙂😁
  22. There is a big difference between the known and the unknown.
