  1. Does anyone have any suggestions for a truck bed organizer, cargo bags or some other ideas to stop items from moving around? (Bottles of windshield washer fluid or grocery bags, small boxes, fishing gear etc...) I have looked at cargo nets and boxes and blocks online but haven't found a good source of anything local...........Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga. I know there are many truck owners on here that must have the same issue as me..
  2. Great topic Sinker sounds like you have the process licked ('scuse the pun). TJ, your Dad introduced me to Yvon Quesnel's dark maple syrup in a whiskey bottle at Lakair quite a number of years ago. If remember it was a rectangular Wisers bottle not Crown Royal though. haven't looked back since, (I much prefer the darker, higher temp longer finish version). Looks like you are well on your way to continuing the family tradition....well done! By the way say Hi to your "daughter" for me, Monique can make me crepes any day....lol,,
  3. Sounds like fun Mark. Maybe we can work out a day to fish together this year..
  4. No Simon it has the same meaning here both literal and figurative just hadn't heard it outside my Brit friends..
  5. I would take the saltwater option every day of the week
  6. Give Sheri and Diane a hug from Barbara and me. Marvin had a wonderful life with the Knightons and was a very lucky pup.
  7. That did it Doug, I will be hungry all night now. And, I just finished 1/2# of bacon on a bun...
  8. Nothing like a nice clean cork
  9. Happy Birthday Jen, you are in Barbara's and my thoughts.
  10. Wow Mike, those are stunning. Some of the best that I have seen anywhere. Thank you for sharing.
  11. Think I might pass on the water in my scotch
  12. A Newfie is visiting Texas and starts a conversation with a Texan at a local bar. The Texan asks the Newfie where he's from and the Newfie says, "You know where New York is?" The Texan says, "Yeh, yeh, I know where that is" The Newfie says, "Well baye, you just drives north of there about 6 hours, turns right for 3 hours and catches a 6 hour ferry and you're there in Newfoundland." The Texan says "That's got to be close to China!" The Newfie thinks about this and then says, "By gosh, I think you might be right. I work with a Chinese guy and he goes home for lunch every day!"
  13. Mike's recommendations will be rock solid...
  14. This is more what it would have looked like..I believe that it is Victorian and maybe an early Salmon rod http://d121tcdkpp02p4.cloudfront.net/clim/97175/j-7-.JPG
  15. Probably Greenheart but don't think it was a fly rod. What part of the UK did he originate from?
  16. Yep it's like the blue cool white outside LED Christmas lights I think they look cold and unwelcoming. Much prefer warm white.
  17. Yep the only issue I really have with them is the heat generated. Having said that they are on much less in the summer than the winter. I am considering converting the outside pot's to warm LED as they are on every night for 6 or 7 hours in the winter and 3 or 4 in the summer.
  18. I understand Dan and I appreciate all of the help, sincerely, but, at $1.47 each taxes in vs $19.00 taxes in wholesale, (more than 12 x) x close to 50 fixtures...........the math still doesn't make sense. I get roughly 12 months out of each bulb in each potlight, some I haven't changed in close to 3 years when they were installed.
  19. Thank you I will keep it in mind
  20. Thanks for sharing Roy, great video. Like Lew I hit the mute button after 30 secs or so. None the less awesome!
  21. I offered him my Princecraft, the one in the Avatar for less than $20K Wayne and was willing to store it over the winter...It was $35K+ new with all the options and it only has about 65 hours total on it!
  22. This is an amazing community! Roy, you have gone above and beyond what anyone might expect from a friend. Thank you....
  23. Since we had the reno's done and the pot lights installed our hydro bill is essentially the same as it was. If I was to replace all of the halogen with LED I would have a bill of approx. $2,000 + HST.....I figure if I saved 10% off my total hydro bill (doubtful) I would save about $180 a year....
  24. Thanks Fisherman but I have been paying less than $2.00 a bulb for the PAR 20 Halogen and they last 12 months on average. LED ones are 10-20 times that cost depending on where you buy them and I am not crazy on the light beam that they cast.
