  1. They are sand eels....
  2. Personally I would rent a flooring nailer and use the right nails for the job (not staples).
  3. Looks painful hun.. Not a lot you can do other than ice on and off and keep the swelling down. Done it twice myself so I know what it feels like.
  4. Really cool to see Jiggy rebuilt bigger and better....
  5. Most lodges up there sell those maps Fred. I wouldn't be without one.
  6. Never been a bass guy myself Mike but your shots are spectacular, thanks for sharing.
  7. What Roy says. He uses Lowrance I use Humminbird, personal preference, Chevy vs Ford.........Always carry compass and map of the water you are on, learn to navigate with them and you will get home.
  8. Looking forward to it Rich, we should arrive mid day Sat.
  9. That's kind of ya Art, we oldies need all the help we can get! When do you plan to get to Hamilton overnight?
  10. Looking forward to seeing y'all again in August. Will miss you and Di Lew but I know that you will have a good time at Memquisit.
  11. Great seeing you guys again even just for a day or two. Regan and Goldie are great people and look forward to getting to know them better in August. Quiet area of the West Arm with little boat traffic, very peaceful! Great pics as usual Joey. Lew, I guess that you and Regan didn't see a fish on Thursday? Joey hope Ralphie is feeling better.
  12. I was in the car returning from West Arm Nipissing and hit the detour. Didn't know what the issue was until I got home. Prayers out to the officer and his family.
  13. Not a problem for me Art, caviar.....mmmmm.
  14. That's awesome Chris! Hope we will see you around a little more!
  15. I am a big believer that most times in this life you reap what you sow and in general you are treated as you treat others. There are many on here that help, some with small acts of kindness, some go way beyond need or expectation, without any thought or want for acknowledgement or reward. Kudo's to all of you, you know who you are. That's what makes this place special and different and a community....just sayin'
  16. There are other boards??????????
  17. Was gonna suggest the puck. I have had a 900 series Humminbird for almost 6 years with zero issues. Would buy another in a heartbeat.
  18. Looking to have some brickwork repaired in the Burlington area.
  19. Lew definitely do not paint it or use the `granite look`coating. Has the surface been sealed. Google acid staining concrete and you will get an idea of what can be done and how it looks. Other option is to have tile, brick or flagstone put over the top. Did I say don`t paint it....lol.
  20. Here ya go http://ca.sale-fire.com/Prowler%20Trolling%20Motor?p=gcb&gclid=CP6D7u_xqL4CFedFMgodjA4AGw http://www.rapidshopper.ca/offers?ts=go&q=prowler+trolling+motor+parts
  21. Magnificent Chris, I want one!
  22. Dave, buy the best you can afford. Quality components and a lighter frame, wheels, hubs will pay dividends with ride quality. You will soon tire riding a $250 CT, Walmart special. Go to a bike shop and tell them what you want and your budget. If they can fit you into your budget look on the used market there are 100's of quality used bikes for sale. I am guessing you will need a $600-$750 budget to buy a quality entry level mountain bike.
  23. Think you need to do more research, lots more...
