  1. I would go with a 8". I own one and it isn't that hard to drill. I have also seen some pike caught in our area that would barely fit through as 6" hole. No point in yanking some big fish through a small hole. Best to be prepared for a big fish if you are targeting them.
  2. I wouldn't worry about the thermal stuff. Mine doesn't have it and I am never cold haha. I Isenberg a small heater and could where t-shirts and be fine. As for Otter huts. Bills bait and tackle has them. They are way nicer then clam or them. I own a Rapala hut. It's alright but not as nice as the otter.
  3. I own the bibs and they are great. I have been out in some nasty rains with no problems and some cold winds and had nothing get through.
  4. Congratulations on the little one Dana.
  5. Man does that look good. I think I am going to have to get me some bacon and a turkey soon haha.
  6. Great Report. Some beauty fish as well. Glad to see you and your friend got together again had some good fishing.
  7. Nice fish. That has some meat that's for sure.
  8. Streamside float rods are actually an awesome rod for the money. There warranty is good to. I was told about them by one of the best steelhead fisherman out there. Since then I got one and we also just started to carry them in our shop. They didn't last long.
  9. Nice Report EC1. Looks like you got some nice dishing in this year. That's a nice chunk of largie you got on the jerkbait.
  10. Awesome report as always, love the shot with the young one and the fish.
  11. Hahaha I can't see it either. Nice work on the pike. That is a killer day.
  12. That is awesome. I can't wait until the ice is here. Some nice fish you got there Dave.
  13. That is a rip off. We don't charge near that for a dozen 5" minnows. To bad you live so for away.
  14. Nice work. I love the flashabou, I tie it into a lot of my work.
  15. I just put mine on a screen air it out for a couple hours. Then I on a paper towel wrapped in tin foil then a freezer bag and in the freezer. I put enough into a bag that I will use for a trip then if I have any left and it doesn't stink I freeze it again.
  16. Nice fish man. Looks like you have had a good year that's for sure.
  17. Nice fish. I should fish some Erie tribs.
  18. Nice work Mike. Some nice fish you got there.
  19. Yea I can believe it. We will have to arrange something for sure.
  20. Thanks Rick. You and G should join for a few hours if it is nice weather out.
  21. That's awesome Dave and Bill. I got to get out on the river again soon. I haven't been in over a week and I am going through withdrawl haha. That being said, I have to get my fix off musky before it closes. The only wildlife we see on St. Clair is ducks taking off after you hear the guns fire haha.
  22. Brian, I wouldn't mind that fever every day haha. Thanks MJL.
  23. Thanks Chad. The pictures are all from my phone, mind you it is a new phone with a decent camera. I really need to get a waterproof, shockproof camera. A few times now I have fumbled the phone and lucky I caught it.
  24. Thanks Brian, if that is something you see commonly up there then I will have to make a trip up there as well haha. I have seen plenty of them as everyone probably but when you see them on the river it is a different feeling. At least I find. Can wait to get out with you as well.
  25. Thanks cuzza, the fly rod has been out a few times and I did manage to get a brown on it. After being able to catch more in one trip with the pin then I did in those few days with the fly I will take the pin over the fly until I learn to fish with the fly better. I know I won't learn if I don't try. I am just waiting till I get out with someone who can show me some things haha. Frank, thank you. I as well love seeing the deer. Nothing more peaceful then being out on the river and seeing them. Thanks Mike, sounds good to me. Fishing with you was a blast last time.
