  2. Happy Birthday Boss Lady... Sorry T.J. sometimes ya gotta say it like it is...
  3. Cripes !!!...Don't let Ron's ducks get at that bucket Victor...They'll be staggerin' all over the place...should be about 90 proof by now...
  4. All the best for your birthday Pete...
  5. I will light the oil lamp, turn on the battery powered radio, turn off all the lights, tvs and computer etc. then play with the kid's mother...
  6. Thanks for all the nice wishes guys and gals... And Maureen... No heart failure...Heartburn maybe !... And as far as taking the day off...you are all heart seeing as every day is a day off when I am retired...
  7. Hey Brandon...We get to share another one ! Let's keep it going for a whole bunch of more years eh... I hope it's a good one for you...
  8. After "National Velvet" all us young lads fell in love with her...her eyes were like looking into deep pools of water...

  11. Thanks Garry...I use the float method with tubes quite often and never thought to use a senko ... will have to give it a try this season...
  12. Damn Cliff...Looks like you posted this just after I got off the 'puter this morning...Maribeth and I send our condolences...like you said to us when we had to put our Riley down..."he will always live on in your hearts" Some of my favorite moments with Andy:
  13. I swear, that between combing my cat and picking up the hair that he sheds, I get enough cat hair to make another cat...
  14. I white-knuckled it down to Peterboro this morning at 08:30 am and most rivers and creeks were open and flowing but Pigeon, Buckhorn and Upper Chemong lakes were ice bound...doubt we will be boating on April 01 like last year...
  15. WOW !!!...Thanks Lorne...I sent a link to a friend (British Steve) to drool over until he makes his annual August trek here for carp...
  16. Yep...At noon, I paid $1.079 at Ultramar...Ctc wanted $1.189 just down the street (Landsdowne) Up here in Bobcaygeon Ultramar was $1.169 but seeing as how I had a doc appointment in Peterpatch I figured I may as well save a few pennies... Too bad the carp season hasn't started yet or I could have really multi-tasked
  17. On the way back from my nephrologist appointment I heard on Peterboro 105.1 fm Country music.. "I'm not good at much, but I'm good at drinking beer " Just as good a drinking song as: "Bottle of wine...Fruit of the vine... When you gonna let me get sober..."
  18. I cut my teeth on the original Lake Simcoe board after learning about it from Chris' (the originator's) dad at the little dock beside the bridge over the Holland River at hwy 11 at Bradford... Sad to see the way a couple of yo-yos can get away with ruining a board without the admins stepping up and banishing them...
  19. Glad to hear you are OK Lew...That was a close one ! I read recently that the Monday after we change the clocks ahead is the worst day for accidents of this type... I know it was Tuesday but I wonder if the same thing applied in this situation...hmmm
