Just maybe, the senior that can't afford a license is giving the food bank a break by eating a few feeds of fish they caught... Hey Ch312, how can you make a statement like you did about the seniors not fishing because they could not afford a license... Must be nice to be young and rich...Enjoy it while you can...you too will get old and maybe poor...That is my wish for you...

Nogies Bay (Pigeon Lake) is half ice covered and most of the north end of pigeon is ice covered... Water is up and over some docks...

Pigeon is still mostly ice covered except Nogies Bay is about half open and the creek is flowing a ton...only drove as far as the dump so only saw the north shore...hell, I still got snow in my backyard and along the north side of our house...

Mark's up at Bobcaygeon used to carry hair rigs Cliff but like Steve said there are lots of sites that show how to tie your own...I usually tie up a dozen of various lengths a sitting and save them on a piece of a swimming pool noodle A straightened out long shanked jig makes a good baiting needle and a small twig will do as a stopper... I have ordered the real McCoy carp equipment from New World Carp in the past...

I can't understand why the pickerel are even open on Scugog when they are closed everywhere else in the Kawarthas during the winter...and we wonder why the decline in numbers...

With my old (1995) F150 I would get that "BANG" at the back when I stepped on the gas after coasting to a stop and the light changed to green...figured it had sumpin' to do with the transmission... It's gone to the big scrap yard in the sky now...

We used to have good luck off the cement pier in the Orillia Beach park just north of the Harbourmaster's building near the statue...then there is the fishing only pier just outside of the Harbourmasters (South side)...best of luck !
