  1. New house, new boat, new furniture, fairly new kids.... your doing well Rob! Good story... I bet theyll be seeing you again.
  2. I ain't pokin' no poopers Joey hahaha. If the whities ever show up, I'll be doing lots of fattening up of my own. Dana, just think of it as a triple-spined, wide-mouthed, whiskered and rubbery trout...it's easy if you try One the other hand Rich, the slime acts as a good moisturizer!
  3. That's a real nice on Burt!! Very similar in color too. Most of the ones I've seen are much darker in complex. Haha to the turkey dinner comment... Apparently it still had room in there for a dew worm and grub!
  4. She's pregnant!!! By far the longest and fattest I've ever caught. 15-16"
  5. Pre-report post... Must be a very intriguing story indeed!
  6. Great video Steve. Especially great is that I caught absolutely no pike today hahaha
  7. nice speckle-rim! YOur making up for this quiet winter. How big was the biggest?
  8. Your boy knows exactly where his food comes from... very cool and important. Good job Simon.
  9. Can't believe how late the season is... water is icy, frost at night, slow moving fish, no bugs..

Just came back in myself, and it's so cold that the pike aren't even moving yet

  10. You hitting the ol' stocked pond? haha. Have fun on those pristine waters.
  11. Love fishing the small trickles...not easy landing fish tough...ever!
  12. Here's my best. Caught with 6lbs test
  13. As much as I love exploring and looking for fish, spots, edibles etc etc...THAT looks like a nice relaxing vacay!
  14. The leaks look very similar to wild garlic...which I'll be eating tonight, along with fiddleheads and splake! Any tips on telling the difference other than smell/taste?
  15. Good job catching them wallies, guys x10 on that sunset shot!
  16. Nice ride. Didn't realize you had a tolling motor to go with it. Now all my regular fishing buddies have their own sportspals...good thing i have 4x4 or I'd have to find new friends hahaha. You didn't miss much on Monday...walleye were sleeping. I still have a hankering for some trout fishing this spring, but my trout record was so bad this year that I'm ready to catch some pike....maybe even some bass!
  17. Now that is a good spring trip! Good call stashing a boat..sure makes it easier doesn't it? The flesh on those fish looks amazing! I can vouch for CK making good quality stuff. I ordered some marabou jigs and they really look like quality gear. Now I need to try them in the water asap.
  18. Good stuff Gino! I could only fish the Monday which was also cold and windy; got a few pike... That 28" is saweet!
  19. haha that's quite the struggling-grin.
  20. Poor guy looked WINDED on that portage! haha.
  21. pretty sure mine were leaking due to the velcro not sealing properly. To be honest I just assumed they were not waterproof, but website says they are, so I'll have to see where the leaking is coming from. I like the "summer" models you posted. Way better than a pair of soaking wet, muddy running shoes in the bush!
  22. I picked up a pair of the Overboots (NAV-N5P3), essentially brand new for $30! I can not get them to seal out water..., but that was in super slushy conditions. Other than that, they are a suberb product!
  23. Back from a week-long trip to N.S. Soooo much seafood in my belly

  24. Hope for a speedy recovery! My dad just found 75 percent blockage and he runs 5-10kms/day and is in fantastic shape; sometimes its out of your control, but still a good reason to take care.
