  1. Here is a free Topo-map...you may have to sign up. http://www.anglersatlas.com/lakes/25008/ lots of structure and rocks to be wary of. Do a bit of google research and you'll find some very neat historical spots; old cabins, trails, spiritual areas etc etc. Should be very good fishing if you can find them (this can be tough)...this applies to all species.
  2. Under stretched if anything. Lot of people kept fish for "spite" this year.
  3. nice! Oh how I wish I could target some pike in Zone 11 rigth now.
  4. wow, Montreal got burried! Good work Sens
  5. The MNR, if you mean the Minister(s) and or the Deputy Ministers of NR. The Ministry itself has a lot of experienced, inteligent and useful people working for them. The Ministry is or maybe was, a very competent group of people, they are just given the wrong tasks.
  6. It's not the ministry themselves, its the politicians running the show...what the heck do they really know about natural resources. The only thing our current Minister of NR is doing, is padding his resume by taking on this task. These politicians roll from position to position to make it look like they have a series of skills so they can clout their "credibility" to the next politician. I feel bad for the people working in the MNR who actually care and have purpose. They are so hog tied that they can't even help our resource, which is their main goal, and ours as well. The funny thing about stocking, is that they wouldn't have to do so much of it if they had more enforcement out there. Soooooo many poachers out there.
  7. That's a big chunk of trout!
  8. Fraser is horrible out there.... should have been benched a few times for playing like a fool. Bozak and Kadri playing like garbage tonight too.
  9. ...you can't catch any other species.
  10. Montreal got clubbed. Frustration is dripping out of their pores!
  11. Nice ground finger! Great catch... you've now caught more poundage of lake trout by accident than I've caught on several targetted trips...
  12. I thought the boat was pulling the truck haha, those trucks are brutal on gas for their size, but great off-road and in trails. Nice rig, nice fish, nice day on the water!
