I've fished Lovesick a few times, but never caught more than Rockies and the odd small small mouth. I'm certain there's big fish, but the Gods wernt shining down on me those two trips out there. Nice lake though.

It's funny ou mention that Lew I was gonna mention that it was open, but just didn't. I've eatin there before and it's been good. Wings and a few games of pool as a matter of fact. I've always had top notch service in there and no complaints from me. We always bring food and use the BBQ, just to keep the price at bay lol. But that's cool you go there and know if it.

Hey guys just a few pics from Stoney last Tues. weather was crap and rained off and on and grey skies most of the two days we were there. Tried very hard for walleyes, but my fishing bud was the only walleye slayer of the trip with two nice ones. Caught enough small bass, but only a few pic worthy ones. We stayed at the smaller linked cottages at Burleigh Falls. We've stayed there before and have been quite happy with the place. Btw the big place is still for sale. Here's some pics. Thanks for looking. I ended up catching a PB smallie on the Wedensday in a tight inlet in the thick weeds. Man was it ever dark in colour.

very nice walleye you got there Grog. Ive fished Stoney more than a few times myself. I find the Walleye are very hard to come by, but then again its proably my technique. Thats also one heck of a Muskie. Very nice. Be careful out there at night!!

My fishin buddy and I headin up to on of our get away spots for a few days last weekend. If some members recall I've posted up some pics if nice bass in the past from this place and I'm happy to say my buddy Dave got his OB largie and me a PB samllie. I know I don't post here very much life, work and all, (more creeper) but thought some may enjoy. Me and some random rock My new back lake 12 footer My buddy Dave with his PB largie. No weight or measurement. Myself with a PB smallie. Some random pics. All fish were realeased to be caught another day. All in all the numbers were down, but the size made up for it. Those words dont sound reasurring Tayzak15. I fish in the bush and work (often alone..work) in the bush and I cant shake the whole "bear" thing. I hate that I cant get it outta my head when at work. Ive seen tracks a few times at work and this certain area (anything Hwy 115/35 East, same lateral as the Petro Can. and Country Style) makes me nervous.

Well glad your green side up man no doubt that was scary. I had a close call when I was younger in a pool. I'll never forget the panic situation I was in. I cant imagine with clothes on. Man. Lesson learned Im sure and your here today to talk about it.
