  1. Look on the bright side of things Ben & Simon, it will help with the water levels I wasn't fortunate this year to witness the low water levels in NWO but heard a few tales about it
  2. LOL that's what happens when you poke things with a stick
  3. I concur I hope they didn't screw anything else up on your new ride when they stole the motor
  4. I hope the Reds keep him happy. He played single A ball here local and he keeps getting better and better, he works hard at what he does

  11. Wayne this is one of the few times that I'm at a loss for words. Best of luck to your daughter and her fight against this nasty disease. Sounds like she is in good hands. Thoughts and prayers for Jennifer and your entire family

  13. Better yet I wonder if non residents that hold a outdoor card can purchase a fishing license on line, it sure would make it easy on me A couple weeks back I had drive around for an hour to four different places to purchase one

  15. That explains why I never see any down our way, I learned something today. I enjoy flying in smaller planes, specially ones with floats on them. I've probably been on more flights with floats than wheels I find it pretty amazing a fella can wake up on a whim and fly to a lake of his choice
  16. I saw that mister, it's a title I'd glady give up That is a real bruiser
  17. Hang in there Kelvin
  18. Since we are on this subject I have a question So the lake is 150 foot wide and lets assume there are boats docked/moored on each side, shouldn't it be a no wake zone?
  19. Good point Wayne but..... I don't have trailer brakes I kind of wish I did though, my 17.5 footer is a heavy boat for it's size
  20. Rizzo the boat under power has to give way to the boat that is not
  21. I bought a set four years ago (not PA's), I was a little reluctant because they had just come out, well I haven't had one bit of trouble since. Last weekend some guy freak out at the ramp and started yelling at me " Your lights are on" I said so, it ain't going to hurt those LED lights and he just looked at me funny Now I don't make a habit out of keeping them plugged in while backing in the water, but if they were still incandescent I would have blown a bulb or two
  22. Do you have a Droid or any other type of smart phone? My son does and the GPS feature work for us last weekend when I forgot my GPS
  23. Pontoon guy brought help on Sunday I was nice to meet you guys
  24. Bob I'm no youngster The cost of everything ain't like it used to be. I could complain about traveling the thruway in your state, Cripes PN state line to Utica NY used to be free also, then it was pocket change now one has take a loan out, but I still won't complain because I choose to visit there. My first trip to Ontario 1973 the exchange rate was upside down, I had a hard time understanding why I would have to give an extra ten cents on a dollar, I sucked it up. As far as the good ole days I can also remember many years where the exchange rate was way in our favor (50 to 60%)I believe we are about par now. As far as the fishing or should I say "catching" it all depends on where you go in Ontario, places I've been to in the last few years with the exception of Nipissing, it's hard to believe at any time it was too much better
