  1. also knows as Simon goes to the seafood section... so was this off the the end of your yard or did you actually have to drive more thn five minutes to get this feast? Nice stringer. Rolof wont be a pup much longer., but he sure is growing into a good looking dog. I suspect he and Jack are pretty tight too?
  2. great report Frank. Love the colours on that fisrt bow you're holding. That is some sweet fishing hole for a conservation area in this part of Ontario. I may just have to ask you to shrae a few pointers there with me next year. Congrats to Tom on his irst trout and best wishes in your fight. I can see you have the right attaitutde to beat this thing from that big smile on your face in the first pic.
  3. thanks for the info Luke. Fingers crossed we get some slime in the boat
  4. looks like someone's new baby??
  5. sweet rod Chris congrats - are we gonna loose a troller to a tier, or are ya still gonna be looking for those summer bows sammies and reef bending bass?
  6. Thanks Chris - if you're around you're place and not the 'rents drop me a pm, maybe we an hook up Luke we'll probably mix it up a bit - trout and bass and maybe some of the weed beds for pike. At this stage any fish will look good before we put the boat into hibernation
  7. Just wondering if those of you who fish the lower Niagara frequently could give some insight on what the water will be like based on the winds for this weekend? Sunday doesnt look too bad, but Monday is showing winds gusting up to 30 from the SW. Just wondering what kind of protection the gorge will afford us. Only fished it a couple times and dont want to make the rundown there if its going to be too choppy to control the drift. Windfinder - Lewiston G and I havent hit the water together since the end of August and a feeling deprived. Any post or pm appreiated. Thanks
  8. Nicely dun. Let us know how she sails
  9. Congrats Misfish - that must have been a blast. !!
  10. Thats a real shame. We have stayed at least 5 of those on the list, some several times - and enjoyed the remoteness and experience. I guess the next generation will appreciate less through expereince and more through? or perhaps they wont.
  11. Hey Simon: Wondered where you'd been! Sorry to hear about the other half's income crunch, sure does hurt when that happens. Awesome shots of Jack and some real brute walters there.
  12. nice coouple of fish there - I didnt even know Erie had pinks, thnks for sharing.
  13. looks like a great time Mike. Love Brendan's expression in this one "Come on Dad, take the photo these are HEAVY"
  14. I remember going several times; Only remember leaving a few. But I was much younger then. It is expensive and it is a beer and sausage celebration - so plan (and dress) accordingly. Take a bunch of freinds and its a lot of fun (the first few times anyway). If you are from out of town - book a hotel. Take a cab to the event that way the only way home is to cab or walk. The alternative is a different accomodation for the evening, which from the papers appears to be quite full.
