    X2 for using your electric troller in unfamiliar areas. Having said that - I fished an area of the French in the morning, trolled through this one particulat spot, no problems. Took my wife for a leisurely boat ride through the same area, WHAM! $650.00 later my little 15 hp was repaired! Hate those rocks!!

    I stayed at Wolsely Lodge many years ago when Jules & Nicole owned it . We did fairly well at the 5 fingers rapids for walleye. They were excellent hosts every time we arrived. She was a realtor from Sturgeon Falls. Then some people from Barrie who owned a catering business bought it. They were NOT the nicest people I have dealt with. I heard they sold out. Does anyone know where to locate Jules & Nicole. I'd love to meet up with them again.

    I love power pro. No memory,sensitive for the light bites, & durable. I have 20 lb on 4 different spinning reels, with an 8 lb fluoro leader 4' long.

    Yup, I love my Husky 353. Lightweight, cuts very fast. I don't need larger than 16" bar. If larger - my wife says the logs are too heavy to carry??

    Wow! This is unreal! The charges & fines should have been much higher than what u have described. For you to have to hit the water for safety is brutal!

    Wow! That's 2 cases I've heard recently where the bear was agressive. Usually they shy away from people.

    Get a transom saver. Will save your skeg & wear n tear on the transom. CTC $60.00 for a good solid one.
